I cut HA a little more slack bc of BHA and the ongoing tired hands collabs. I started naming breweries in my post you quoted, but decided to keep it general.

Only letdown for me was that the DIPA based on Animal Law didn't come out hazy at all. It was still an excellent beer, but not what I was expecting.

    Also, wtf is citra cryo?

I normally google but for some reason assumed this would not get me the info I want. However, it looks like it gives exactly the info I want.

From the description, it looks like it provides super hoppy flavor without the bitterness that usually comes with lots of hoppiness? I don't know the history of this stuff, but if true, that may do wonders for a lot of the breweries that are having trouble balancing all the aspects of an NE IPA.

Seems it is the same thing as lupulin powder? Or no?

Just picked up some 3-17 Navaja @ Binny's and had a can last night. Forgot what a delicious brew that was and enjoyed it thoroughly.

HA never described Animal Law as a NEIPA style, so I'm not sure why people keep claiming it (not a knock at you guys by any means, but i've seen people state that here and elsewhere). Same goes for Fog Bowl, which was a brett IPA). They never had any of the typical characteristics of a NEIPA, besides some photos with a bit of haze. I just get confused when people place them in that category.

Animal Law tasted like a bitter ol' regular IPA to this palate.

Nothing wrong with that as many love that style of course, but I would never group it with the beloved (to me) "NE IPA" brews.

They claimed it was hazy (or whatever terminology they used), I didn't say they said it was an NE IPA. It was definitely the closest they've intentionally done to one, though, in terms of look and feel. I say intentionally because I'm not clear on what happened with the tap version of BHA.
I also would not group it as such, but it was a little less bitter and a little more fuller feel-wise than their standard beer, in my experience.

My main point is that the beer they based off Animal Law was not hazy or fuller than usual. Not a knock necessarily, just not what I was expecting, given AL.

edit: For what it's worth, my favorite recent HA beer has been Cliffs of Tephra (not hazy, not full), so I'm not trying to advocate Animal Law being amazing. But it was tasty.

What was the imperial version they did of AL? Don't think I realized they did that, so not sure I ever had it.

Juice Pants 4 getting the lupulin powder treatment. What's the verdict on this stuff?

And what's up with Hop Butcher Telehopic?

They had it on tap at The Open Bottle anniversary party - so I gotta think cans will be coming soon.
