Not AAA but Fair Winds has a BBA version of their house stout out tomorrow.

 

WFP, Conn Ave, CW and CBC often get diff 4 Hands beers.

 

Have only seen Geuze, Mure, and Stout Rulquin hit the stores around here.

 

Has anyone seen the Trader Joe's Sour Framboise By Petrus in the NoVA/DC? I just heard about it online, and walked up to the Clarendon store and didn't see it, although I'll admit the place was 100+ deep on the line an I didn't spend much time poking around.

I know someone who works at TJ posts in here, but I couldn't find his handle on my cursory search. Thanks in advance!

 

I want to say I saw it at the TJ's on Main Street Fairfax, but i wouldn't stake my life on it.

 

From what I understand, it's come and gone in VA stores, but DC is getting them sometime within the next few months... There's also a TJ's/Port City collab down the pipeline.

 

I feel like I saw this at TJs on 14th weeks ago.

Hooray! Another beer to hope to find on tap. I'd be okay with lines if it wasn't full of, "have you ever had orange starfish? Have you ever had orange starfish on the 5th day after brewing in a treehouse surrounded by dog sleds? Man! It's so juicy and dank!!"

 

You sure it's Friday AM? Everything I've seen so far has indicated 4/1 which would be Saturday.

 

The price tag got bigger though, so maybe that will help.

 

I called total wine near me and they definitively said - "KBS will be on sale Saturday Morning, 4/1".

The amount of definiteness in the person's voice make me feel like they have already received their shipment and are just holding it in the back until Saturday. I then inquired what they were doing regarding bottle limits - and he said they haven't decided yet but if I come Saturday morning, they have plenty. He then backpedaled and said, they WILL have plenty. The slight slip and the concreteness of the information (something total wine is not known for) leads me to believe it is there, just waiting to be sold.

I saw 9.99 for 12oz. What were the old bottles, 25oz? They were around $24 per bottle. So I'd say the price is similar.

Bro, I got 1/3 of the supply of black note for all of D.C. I know, I took two days off and hit every shop. No I can't tell you where my honey holes are. I just need you to know I have them and how much beer I got because then I have value.
