If you took that pic near 6ish yesterday, we were standing behind you, eating tacos.

I did! Though I haven't met any BA users, I'm sure I see you all the time at Cellarmaker

Oh boy, I hope Orange Julian and Imp CC last until the second week of may. Won't be back in California until then.

Cellarmaker beers typically last about a week.. but that doesn't mean they can't rebrew by then.

Out of towner here. I'll be in town by chance for the bottle release next Tuesday. What should I expect? Long line? No problem walking up at opening and grabbing limit? I'm used to crazy releases at Veil and RAR on east coast and don't know that i wanna spend 2+ hours in a beer line when I've never been to San Fran before and have limited time there. Thanks for the feedback.

I wish they hadn't said it's juicy. That may throw things off. But I'd imagine on opening, you'll wait 20 minutes.

Thanks. That's not bad at all. I'll probably be there at opening

It doesn't have the words "Collaboration", "Other Half", and "Trillium" on the label so I don't think you'll be waiting 2 hours for this.

If you can.. and I know you have limited time, is to to kind of scope out the line about an hour before opening.

If you have limited time, and have other stuff to keep you busy in the city, I would go at like 3 o'clock or slightly after. They will have worked through all the people that waited in line by then, and you can probably just walk up and buy it

Agreed. If you have some time in the area, stick your head into City Beer Store [just a block away] - and go a little on the later side to pick up your bottles. You shouldn't have much of a line at all if you just give it 30-60 minutes after they start selling them. Walk up, buy your bottles, step into the taproom to have some beers off the taps...

I appreciate all this pro-tips. That's what I'm thinking is we'll walk around and get a late lunch in the Mission and then try to go to cellar around 3:30 pm

I'm starting to go to the taproom and drink until the initial line is gone then buy bottles and bounce.

I'll be in town for a conference and haven't been to one of their releases. What time do bottle sales start? Usually supply for at least a couple hours? TIA

    On sale 2pm.

Depends on the beer, but the last release (Mt Nelson, Nelson Sauvin pale ale) lasted 3 days. But the two previous ones before that (Juice Gymnastics and Double Dobis) only lasted a few hours.

^Yep, and they often start working through the line earlier than 2:00. Hard to say how long it will last without knowing how many bottles they made this time. It says limit is only 6, so I would guess it will last a few hours, likely more

Just before hitting Jiu-Jitsu studio, at 158. So maybe about 50 in line?
