Agreed. I was more excited for the pilsner and it was about what I was expecting but the stout was phenomenal.

The Pils is so true to style: biscuit, grassy, a touch of lemon and cracked pepper. The Void is ridiculous. Think Imperial Stout Trooper with an added boost of oats. The coffee notes are strong too. Even at 7% compared to 9.2% for IST, the comparison is, IMO, accurate. Void is that big and bold!

Excited to try both, I popped in about 2:15 and was in and out. Place looks great, upstairs looks like it'll be awesome - really happy for Matt.

Grabbed four 4 packs of Pils and 1 Oatmeal. Both exceptional. Although I like my Pils with a little more spiciness. The Oatmeal exceed expectations. Ridiculous coffee, milk chocolate and toasted nuttiness. Slight knock for the higher ABV. CW may be all I drink this year!

Agree with everyone. The stout is killer. Was awesome to walk in and grab beers in 2 minutes yesterday but I doubt that will be the case in the near future.

Drinking my first Void now. Very impressive I wish I grabbed more than one 4 pack.

Looks like some Workhorse kegs are out in the wild now. Also I really hope that the grisette I've been hearing about from Monday's industry event is available to the public at some point.

Forgive my ignorance on this, but what is a Grissette? I'm not familiar with that style.

I enjoyed the Oatmeal as well. Ridiculously tasty for an oatmeal stout.

I can't wait to visit the taproom. Too bad I'll be in DC this weekend.

Basically a low alcohol (3-5% ABV), golden ale in the vein of a Saison. A working class brew that originated in the coal mines of France near the (what now is) border with Belgium.

Enjoying cans of workhorse and void. The facility is easy to get to and has a lot of space. The oatmeal stout is very rich and i enjoy the slightly bigger abv, even though there isnt a hint of booze....till you finish the can anyway!

Got there minute before noon today and had about 15 min wait to get through can line. Tasting room was filling up quick. Would guess Space Coyote lasts through the day.

Coyote is nice display of Galaxy.
Low reviews on Untappd are comical. Guess because it's not a DIPA or expensive.

Might be b/c TH ran out of beer and all their fanboys came to CW just to complain. Space Coyote is every bit as good as Green.

Taste is subjective, but I had a pour there, and I'd say no way in hell.

Will see - have 12 cans in the fridge. Based on the pour there? It cannot touch Green, not even in the conversation. I'll check in tonight, weird thing I saw was I've had cans from each batch of Headway, and the beer being poured today was borderline crystal clear, unlike my cans.

The board also said Space Coyote was "w/ Mosaic", im assuming someone messed up.

Edit: I will add, everyone is so quick to compare beers to TH beers and they aren't even close to being alike.

Space Coyote is fantastic. Is it Green? No, but that's ok! Tree House is special. If Space Coyote is gonna be regualrly available for $12/4 pack it may be by new go to beer. Very very well done

I love Tree House as a brewery but they definitely have some of the most obnoxious fans in the region. Literally any brewery that opens and does not mimic Tree House exactly from business model to package type to flavor profile is automatically judged as inferior.
