My guess is they count those as two separate purchases (which they are) and can easily identify any separate purchases with the same name and invalidate them. That would not be a hard process for them to do at all, but I don't know if they actually do that.

 

I can't imagine that they are going to actually invalidate. What if two people attending have the same first and last name? I think it'd have to be purchased with the same credit card.

 

They check the address, too. Unless your credit card/shipping address are different from your ID.

That said, they've said in the past they would check for multiple purchases and I ran into a guy who had bought several tickets using the same name and credit card and none of his were invalidated. So...

 

Yeah, I think it is just a scare tactic. I'm skeptical that Three Floyd's has either the ability or desire to police it that closely.

Also, can't you pay cash for in person tickets?

 

Do they give you the ticket at pub release or do they look at your license and put you on a will call list these days? For the FFF Warpig's event I think they photo copied license or wrote down info from it for event day will call.

 

No clue, I've never bought in person. But I'm sure I could get away with it even though I already bought online, my address on my license does not match the address on my credit card.

 

My roommates and I will be there. They do a good shuttle.

A few years back I got my ticket at the brewpub and they checked your license/ ID, then wrote your name in pen on the physical ticket.

Again, this was a few years back & Three Floyds has a tendency to change things up on a regular basis, so take it for what it's worth

Supposedly there's a dozen people waiting at three Floyds thinking dld tickets are on sale. I've seen no social posts. This is coming from a dark lord day FB group. April Fools joke?

 

Pretty much every year, people line up at the brewpub on the weekends after tickets go on sale, hoping to get lucky.

 

I heard pub sales would be Group E only with vintages not variant stamps on the tickets.

 

haven't they released tickets at the pub on week days the last few years?

 

If I'm going to release pub tickets for locals I'm not making social media posts and doing it on April Fool's Day so people who catch wind through social media think its an unverified prank.

Edit: My money is on another Easter release.

As a group D'er, I wonder if "vintage DL bottles" might include vintage variant bottles #probablynot

 

They take down your name and address. You get a photo copy of a ticket with your ID on it as proof of purchase. At DLD, you get your physical ticket/lanyard.
