Yeah I was going to say, if you crave the NE IPA style so much, just make it at home, easy and far better results than cans that ship across the country. :grinning:

Check out small-batch offerings at Highland. You might be surprised. Brewery only.

I definitely will have to make a visit there, I know they've definitely stepped up their game over the last few years, would definitely love to see their small batch stuff.

Yup. Keg to glass on a Sunday afternoon following a day of chores. Kinda nice.

I'll be in town next week. I'll have to make sure I stop by for one of those.

Too funny. Perhaps I need to come up with a... would you pay for this(?)... sample group / business plan?

I'd say you can pretty much roll into a fair amount of local breweries here and see a New England IPA on tap, probably from a pilot system. As far as reoccurring beers I'd say ww's juiceless and Burials hawkbill are both pretty good..but like I said, these things aren't exactly legendary Pokémon here, just look through the tap list at local breweries in the area..ww's juiceless isn't currently avlabile, but they just released a beer called thurst puncher at their brewpub that fits the bill.

Juiceless was a one-off collab WW did with Creature Comforts last summer. Didn't stick around long and I haven't heard any news about it coming back. I wouldn't call it NE-Style, but it was damn good.

The Thirsty Monk currently has Backjump by LIC Beer Project, which appears to be an NE style IPA. Does that count?

Agreed, and the haziest beer in town is probably LOL NE IPA from Highland
