Socal maybe, but this will be it's third appearance in Norcal. Hoping it tastes more like 2015 than 2016. I'll buy some, but definitely more Parabola even though it's more coin.

Just hit my local store, and all the vendor had to send was two cases! Ridiculous. So, 12 customers, and likely done. Oh, well. I get my 4 bottles...

    Edit: Ooh, Rank Titles!

Well, if it's in the Bay Area, it should be in all of CA. Where you at?

I'm in LA and haven't seen anything yet. Called around and it seems like it's going to be dropping this coming week. I think it dropping on April 1st (a Saturday) messed up distribution.

It won't completely turd up shelves, but you won't find people chasing trucks on release day either. It will likely last at places for 1-2 days

One quick correction. They only had a few of the 4 packs, and 7 cases of the 750ml.

    the 750ml was about $20.99.

First BA stout I ever had, and I thought it was incredible. Then I had five dozen other BA stouts and don't feel KBS is the jewel it once was. Still good, but the hype it commands, especially on the East Coast, is truly absurd.

I want to do a blind taste test with Lagunitas high westified. For less than $2 a bottle... how does Lagunitas make money?

It's possible they don't make money because Heineken can afford to lose money.

Or maybe its slim manufacturing and using economies of scale that are not available to smaller breweries driving the lower price point. It does give them a competitive advantage and benefits the customer... but by all means, let's be uncharitable and assume loss leading on the part of big beer, despite the fact that Lagunitas and High Westified both has been a terrific value since long before the green glass buy in....
