I thought the same thing as last year they had 2015 variants. Hopefully i get in line early enough to still get some of the less sought after but still good variant.

 

Last year I started with a KBS, I will probably start with a 2017 KBS again this year.

Have you guys thought about what you want to bring?

 

We'll catch up big time closer to the event between multiple weather updates per day, the inevitable "what are you bringing" for 5 pages or so, discussions about parking followed by several posts about the evils of drunk driving, and answering the same questions 5 times.

specifically, no. but 2 weeks before I'll be in Boston and the week before in San Francisco, so if everything goes well i'll be bringing fresh hops

 

Just curious - being local, I'm not tuned in to what "out-of-towners" are thinking when they come to NW Indiana.

What breweries are you considering visiting? Flossmoor (still? even though I haven't considered them to be relevant for maybe 4-5 years), 18th? What?

I'm sure several of us have thought about it, but come on, we have more than a month to drink stuff from our cellar!

That and if we bring any IPA's that weren't collected fresh out of the tank, the neckbeards will shun us.

 

There is definitely still a lot of time for the cellar/inventory to change, but I've also already tagged a handful of beers for DLD. Some of them may get drank, but I have a general idea (I think) of a few that I'll be bringing.

 

I mean, yeah, I have a rough plan. However, part of it depends on what I can get fresh from Mikerphone and/or Noon Whistle. The quantity of those also affects how many stouts I can cram in the backpack.
