    People might be in luck:
~IREALLYdontwanttoBU is the double dry-hopped version of our 0 IBU IPA IdontwanttoBU. 6.9% and hopped intensely with Citra and Mosaic (approx 55 cases) $15+tax/4-pack. 1x 4-pack per person.
~Old Lions is an 8.6% DIPA hopped to heck with Amarillo, Simcoe, and Motueka (approx 66 cases) $16+tax/4-pack. 1x 4-pack per person.

I wish they'd dropped the limits like that on CT last week so I could have grabbed some on Thursday - missed it by about an hour. With no 3rd Thursday, and 300+ people able to buy cans between tonight and tomorrow they might make it to Saturday.

Good news is they have one of the broadest lineups on tap in a long time on right now.

Looks like the next Third Thursday is gonna be a big one:
-We will be tapping 3 very special casks of Sleeping Forever (our anniversary imperial stout).

It's going to be interesting to see how they do that whole week. Given the limits and what they're putting out for the party on Saturday, I'm betting they drop a couple of the beers that week in smaller runs - like 150 cases of Dirt Nap and White Ferrari that Tuesday. Wouldn't be surprised if they pull some surprise kegs to put on as well.

I've got a feeling it's going to be a big week for them leading into the party on Saturday.

    Tomorrow's releases.
    ____________________________________

    - Cat Boy is an 8.4% DIPA hopped exclusively with Simcoe hops. The labels are running a little behind, but it will feature the same design as the Cat Boy enamel pins created by one of our brewers Justin(aka Cat Boy). The pins are not for sale, but we will be handing them out to the first 50 peeps in line. Shooting for approx 200-210 cases. $16+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person.

    - Hornswoggler with Reginald's Homemade Bourbon Pecan Peanut Butter AND Oreos! (CAN DEBUT) You guys seemed to really like the cask we made for the release of the original batch of Oreo Hornswoggler, so we decided to scale it up and DOUBLE the batch. We took our 7% robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies and hundreds of pounds of Reginald's Homemade Bourbon Pecan Peanut Butter. ...If you like Oreo cookies or peanut butter, this is a must try. *THERE MAY BE SOME RESIDUAL FERMENTABLE SUGARS FROM THE COOKIES IN THE BEER. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST KEEPING THESE CANS AS COLD AS POSSIBLE AT ALL TIMES. WE ALSO SUGGEST CONSUMING THIS BEER AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE FOR THE MOST INTENSE OREO/PEANUT BUTTER CHARACTER POSSIBLE.* Shooting for approx 120-135 cases. $20+tax/4-pack. 1x 4-pack per person.

*CASES PACKAGED AND LIMITS SUBJECT TO CHANGE*

We are anticipating a large crowd and the possibility of selling out tomorrow(Tuesday) or Wednesday. If you want to get your hands on this, we highly suggest coming tomorrow(Tuesday). We will have plenty on draft to hopefully last a few weeks.

We will also be hiding 10x Golden Tokens(seen in front of the can) underneath the 4-pack holders(only on Hornswoggler cans). Find one of these coins and give it to a staff member behind the bar to receive a free Golden Hornswoggler glass. The Hornswoggler himself is on the back side of the glass)! This is the ONLY way to get your hands on this glass. We will never sell this glass. It is only acquired if you are the lucky few to find a Golden Token.

At one 4pack p/p they should have over 700 allotments at their lower case estimate (+800 high end).
Certainly should last awhile, lining up super early not needed - tho I'm sure people will.

So the long line usually lasts into the evening?

Going to be in Richmond randomly and was thinking about stopping by around 5 or 6, but don't know how long I have to wait. Thanks for any help!

If I had to guess, the wait should be around 60+ minutes if you show up at or around 5PM.

I would assume the same as @mcvick . At least an hour wait most likely and no more than 90-mins. Even if you are not up for the wait you should be able to grab draft pours rather quickly.

haha, I'm going to go out on a limb and say there will not be 700+ people in/through the line at 4:30, you're going to be ok (unless amounts change).

I got lucky with Oreo Horns in that a friend went to the release and didn't want the four pack so let me buy his. It was interesting, but I wouldn't have lined up for it. This actually sounds kinda gross to me. But hype train is at full speed, plenty of folks who heard about "ZOMG OREO BEER!!" in Cosmo or wherever will be coming out for the first time. Still, only 2 beers, one is Cat Boy (which I don't care for and bet I'm not alone), low limits, high yields, I wouldn't be surprised if they have as much as 1/3 of the PBOhorns left going into tomorrow.

You'll probably miss out on one of the 50 pins. Unless yield/limits change. I think it's safe to say Veil moves less than 100 people through line in an hour. They are open for 5 hours today. There are 720+ allotments of Hornswoggler. There might be a line the whole time, but my money is on there being a considerable amount left going into tomorrow. If I'm wrong it would take the highest turnout to date and the fastest they've moved a line to do so.

You will be absolutely fine with getting both if you are there by 4:30 or so. The only downside is the wait. Never Aloha was 110 cases last week and sold out just before 6:30pm at a 2x/pp limit. I'm sure it would have sold through sooner is not for the thunderstorms. With at least 120 cases of Horns at a 1x/pp you could probably show up any time today up until close and come away with cans so long as no one sneaks a 2nd or 3rd trip through the line and there are a not a lot of mules in tow. Don't fall into the feeding hype. 700+ people is a lot to show up even on release day. I think the line has been 150-200 deep at opening maybe 1-2 times since they opened last year.

Just for math/correctness' sake, its not how many people Veil can move through the line by 4:30 that matters, its how many people get in line by 4:30 that matters. He'll be walking up to the back of the line, not the purchase counter at 4:30. I agree though, I don't think it will be 700 by then.
