    Thanks, BJ!

Very informative response. Looking forward to continuing to witness (taste) your evolution in this style.

@BJP any chance you guys would ever bottle Snooze Juice? I absolutely love that beer and am finding myself there drinking it every week!

Screw that, let's go straight for the end zone--Cans!

    Bottle...no. Can?
    Fuck yeah.

Our bottling manufacturer is putting together a can conversion kit that is due to us early summer. We will be beta-ing it so I'm not going to hold my breath. But cans are coming, one way or another out of the pub within 4 months.

I agree though, Snooze Juice is my ideal type of beer in a can. I don't really drink multiples of beers above 7%abv. I may get through 16oz of one...but really don't go back for a second. <6% is my sweet spot. I will be working on a NE "bitter" in the near future. Surly's Bitter Brewer (prior to 2016) was my go to summer beer. Then they changed the beer entirely last year and I couldn't even get through one. Completely different hop profile and bitterness.

I thought the very low abv "Hop Water" from Narrow Gauge this weekend was interesting. Cool idea, even though I didn't love the execution.

You can a NE style IPA and I'll drink the shit out of that!

I haven't had hop water from Narrow Guage, but Im curious to try it. Have you had a chance to try some of their other beers? Hoppy Meal was a revelation for me - 6.6% nice easy drinking yet flavorful.

What/how did you change to get more body in the final product?

I did. I liked Hoppy Meal but preferred Cloud City (7%). I did the flight and, admittedly, that sometimes skews so that the higher (bigger flavor) beers come out on top.

Cloud City was also very good! And yea, I could see that with a flight.

I haven't been in to try any of your beers yet, but I'm going to make some time to come in - sounds like you are really putting a ton of work into honing these beers to the style. Maybe I can convince my wife to go to dinner there for our anniversary ...

2 things: I've been slowly upping the %'d of oats and/or wheat. And, of course, mash temp. Hoping I can get there by pulling those 2 levers. I would rather not resort to stressing out the yeast by underpitching.

You gotta try OJ Run, none of the other beers they make are on its level IMO

Two new Hop Butcher beers out at Beer Cellar...photo was too small on my phone but one it looks like at least one is a New England IPA.

After about 4 saisons in row I'm finally passing, which with my luck means these are Julius-level delicious.

I've skipped their last few releases (other than Columbian Coffee Stout) but I'm intrigued by that pale ale with blueberry honey ...

Hop Butcher jumped the shark. You heard it here first. 1- they have given up on social media updates, but who can blame them with how the last few releases got panned on here. Hopefully the "last brewed' dates on the two beers being released this week (which you find out from a rando bar's twitter page, not Hop Butchers) are not accurate since they show end of February on the Hop Butcher web-site.
