Darklord Day 2017

The tote bags given out at GI Prop Day this past year I felt were great, they were very sturdy.

Still any bag that doesn't close shut puts your allotment at risk to thieves or weather conditions.

 

I threw mine in as a secret extra in a trade. Didn't want to throw it out.

Yeah, they were also selling those bags at the merch shop for $10-20. They were legit heavyweight bags. And we really weren't given them so much as the $20 extra we got charged for Rare '15 vs Binnys pricing covered the price of the bag. The DL ones are like what Urban Outfitters uses instead of plastic bags...

 

Not so great for that either. My wife sent me to Whole Foods to pick up some kale, and the damn thing fell out of the bag when I got home, then it somehow got stepped on and run over by a car. We had to scrap her recipe and order a pizza because of that dumb bag.

 

Lol. Sounds like someone doesn't subscribe to the wife's diet.

 

That bag sounds like a hero to me.

 

what lovely day it is in Chicago today. here's hoping it's just as nice come DLD.

 

It's good practice weather for DLD. Get yer rain gear on, stand around outside pretending you're in a line, consume high APV beers in 3 oz increments...

 

The last couple of weeks have been DLD-esque weather-wise. Can someone provide some ridiculous bands I should download to prepare my ears for the assault they are going to take as well? Bands like Fetus Banger or Dragon Abortion or whoever the hell the bands are that play at DLD?

P.S. Just kidding, no more band talk please (unless it is to make fun of their ridiculous names or how annoying they are)

In fairness, it IS a big part of Dark Lord Day.

 

UNFORTUNATELY, it is a big part of Dark Lord Day. I'm willing to bet a majority of attendees would prefer those bands not be there.

It's cool if 3 Floyd's wants to have a concert for the tiny niche music genre they enjoy. It's just too bad they don't do it on a different day than DLD, IMO.

 

Its basically why you're paying admission.

 

It may be why they charge admission.

 

Less bands more hanjee!!!!

 

Close. It helps to justify admission charges.

 

Personally, I'd be willing to pay MORE if they got rid of the bands.

 

Would free up more tent space!

Anyway, not talking about bands would be like not talking about cooler backpacks or totes...one can not simply...
