It's going to be mid-30's with winds gusting to 60 miles out of the north, with driving rain tomorrow.

I predict that tomorrow is the day that in-person tix go on sale.

or was it a cardamom/vanilla variant, one of those lists was for 2018

 

When the statement came out regarding FFF focusing on the favorite variants and not having quite so many variants I was quite intrigued. I'm curious as to why they decided to go this route. Did they actually listen to the complaints or is it just easier for them to make less variants?

came up in a conversation today, has anyone ever pressed coffee and vanilla into DL? It come out okay? Was just thinking about it today.

 

it's not the same beer, but my brother did that with a BCBS and it was delicious! I would think a DL would yield the same results

I think since most people obtain such a limited quantity of it, as opposed to BCBS or other big dark beers, that they usually just want to enjoy it as is or bring to a share.

I keep a jar filled with oak cubes, vanilla beans (split), and bourbon on hand to splash in stouts. Does beautiful things to DL.

 

We dropped a split vanilla bean into a DL and it was delicious. Far from Handjee or FVM but works. We were too lazy to strain the DL upon pouring so the bottom of the bottle was tons of vanilla specks and way too much vanilla.

 

So, we're 5 weeks and 2 days away from DLD 2017, and we're on page 59 of posts. I just checked the 2016 thread, and at the same point we were only at 39 pages!!! Everyone take a moment to appreciate the great work we're doing here.

On another note, I read through some of the posts on that 39th page, and it was pretty much the exact same stuff we're talking about now. Where can I find tap lists? When do IP tickets go on sale? How many tickets were sold?
