As a big Alchemist fan, I don't even want to oversell it in THAT sense!

I really wanted to like Telehopic but I just couldn't. I got some seriously off flavors with it, dish soap being the main one. It was tough to finish. Big bummer for me I think I'm done with HB for a while.

Some of Mike's NE style ipas have been brewing for a month(SSS and 160 Swiftly)... which is weird to me Bc most should be 2 weeks

what you dont like saisons labeled as NE IPAs? HB does not make bad beer, but they sure as hell don't make good beer that fits how its marketed.

Maybe he subscribes to the thinking that they are optimal 2-3 weeks after they are "done"

No I knew full well it wasn't going to be NE style before I bought it. I saw pictures and read reviews. The beer is just all over the place. I find it real hard to believe this was the taste they were going for.

I wonder if there's some variation with the batch here. I can see not loving it, but I didn't get any actively weird/gross flavors from my can. I've seen HB beers before that had some variation in haziness, so I wonder if this has a similar cause.

Anyone try the new version of pitcher of nectar from tight head brewing?

Anyone try the new version of picture of nectar from corridor brewing?

Went to Forbidden Root for lunch today, and the Snooze Juice was pretty tasty. It was good enough to order a second glass, but I doubt I'd take home a growler/howler of it. It's definitely better than Yayo, which I didn't care much for

I think it's typically been closer to three weeks

Not to argue but look at his instagram and both 160 and SSS were almost 5 weeks from original brew day. Get Fresh Flow was also over a month as well. Wondering why.

Also. I love Stratus picking that up today

I'm assuming it's just a timing thing. I don't think he wants to release anything in bottles without putting it on tap and his taps have been full. Plus he proabably wants a new beer or 2 every week. I was there at close on Fri and GFF and Bean Spirit were still going. Yesterday they were replaced with the new ones and Bean Spirit was in crowlers.(the rest I assume). Probably just trying to get into a rhythm will all of that.

Had Stratus in September and it was merely fine. Had it yesterday and it's really good. It's a different beer now so definitely worth a re-visit

Had dinner at horse thief hollow on Friday. Thought Northeast by Southwest was excellent.
Too bad they're located in Beverly, frickn Micks everywhere. "Holy Crap, you went to little St. Vincent for grade school? Do you know Keith O'reilly or Tommy O'brien?"

Does anyone know where I can pick up Transient's Juice Is Loose in the Chicagoland area?

If someone knew this, it wouldn't be available.
    Your best bets are:
1- Drive to Michigan and hope for a release
    2- Trade
3- Have a really vivid dream

Their taproom in Bridgman, MI opens at noon ET today. According to their IG they will still have juice available to go. They said this was the biggest batch they've made to-date, so I don't imagine it will sell out today (I think they released on Thursday).

The taproom is the only place to get it currently. Since they opened in Bridgman, to my knowledge, they've only dropped one batch in Chicago. Due to licensing, they cannot sell the beer brewed in MI in IL. In order to sell it here they have to contract brew at a local brewery.

looked liked they still had some available yesterday. Maybe I'll make the drive today. Also wanted to stop by the Croc's outlet store in Michigan City, kill two birds with one stone.
