I've consistently seen Hunter 4 packs or variants of it at Capones in Chicago...

If you're going to be near Homer Glen/Orland Park, Kenwood has bombers of regular hunter and 4packs of vanilla hunter....

Bombers are 11.99 and 4 packs are 15.99 (IIRC).

I was at Lincoln Park Bonny's last week, and they had hunter cans.

    Shouldn't be an issue.

Damn! We have tickets to Flogging Molly in Detroit that night! I will pass this time! Happy wife, happy life! Plus Flogging Molly is great in concert.

A week to go until ticket sales, and the only we know is the date. 18th Street is clearly trying to prevent any buzz about the event.

Or the price will be so bad they don't want anybody to have time to talk themselves out of making a ticket purchase.

I just hope they learn from last year and work on the event. Cigar City did and now throw a world class event. Spiteful did and made a much improved event. The thing about 18th Street is I don't know if they're that smart.

Smart is relative. If 18th can get people to show up and pay for a fest many of us feel is not worth the value, I'd consider them the smart ones.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. If it's another ridiculous price point for nothing, people won't buy it. I went last year and they were far from sold out. I'm guessing it's a huge bomb if they don't fix it. FWIW, BA BB is one of my favorite beers...

Yeah, you don't really have to be smart, you just have to be a good businessman.

Not to take this thread off topic, but thanks. I figured as much (see Indiana Beer Love thread) but you saved me an eventual trip anyway...

I'm taking this as a bad sign for what the cost will be and what that will include.

I would tend to agree, which means tickets will be available for a few weeks.
