Never had an IPA with lactose, just never really understood what it does for the beer. Is it just for that haze, bro?

Is there another NYC brewery doing much with oats and lactose along the lines of Tired Hands (or whoever else does that; TH is the only one I've had/heard much about)?

They say it adds a creamy/pillowy mouthfeel but since I'm lactose intolerant it just means I can't drink very much of it. I'm over the whole lactose thing too.

Sounds interesting, but I'm fine with the idea of skipping this release. Wake me up when City Slickers is announced.

I've only heard good things about Cloudwater, so I'm pretty excited; however, I've had a few lactose Tired Hands beers and have hated them.

So is lactose the new FOTM now that DDH doesn't move as many cans?

Just moved to NY and wanted to know what's a good time to show up to Saturday releases to get some cans?

Can't make it in the morning, but here's to hoping all you lactose intolerant BAs skip this and it lasts into the afternoon!

Double batch, I see no way this sells out in the morning, I would be surprised if it doesn't last until late into the night, even the next day. Only double batch that has ever sold out on Saturday was the Monkish collab and the last 4-pack of that was sold at 4:15pm that day.

Edit: and the trillium collab sold out same day.

Wasn't Like Woah a double batch? Think it sold out pretty early. Anyhow I agree - expect this lasts till late afternoon.

Adds mouthfeel and a little sweetness. I think it should be used in moderation. I definitely can not drink a TH Milkshake by myself.

I believe that was a triple batch.

Like Woah was a triple batch. It was also the longest line I have ever seen at OH. It wrapped around 4 blocks and the end of the line almost met the front of the line before opening.

Double batch typically means around 500 cases for Other Half right?
