FVM is probably a Top 2 variant for me. I would love to see it again.

Double Barrel would be nice as long as it was something like Rum/Bourbon and not the obscure barrels used in last year's double barrel.

Did anyone drink Malort Barrel Dark Lord at Kaiser Tiger post FOBAB?

Sure, it sounds like it could be disaster. But as a Malort guy, part of me thinks the bitterness could cut the sweetness and lend balance the beer. Depends on how long the Malort sat on oak and how long the beer aged in the barrel.

 

Have you ever told anyone before you are a Malort guy. Can't believe that comes up often.

 

Regarding earlier post about it being Mother's Day weekend: My wife (and mother of our grown up twin daughters) is coming along with me. I offered her a day in Chicago on Mother's Day. She has not taken me up on that yet. I told her we will do whatever you want.

Regarding backpack recommendations, can someone post a link or two to products online they would recommend? My current laptop backpack is definitely not suitable.

Regarding bands, I heard Ovarian Overlord may be making an appearance. They are on tour with Womb Tomb.

Regarding bottle sharing...I just picked up some 2017 KBS so that will be coming north.

Haha yep. I actually received a malort painting as anoffice Secret Santa gift this year. I've also received malort as gifts.

 

I'm also B, and also first DLD. Will be with a group of 4...not sure what all I'm bringing, but likely some Hoof Hearted and Jackie O's will be in my bag if any of that interests you.
