On the shelf in Williamsburg VA this week?

We get Deschutes in VA now . Was just at a Krogers grocery store here in Va . Beach and they had mixed 12 pks with Mirror Pond Pale Ale , Black Butte Porter , a red IPA and another IPA . Haven't had a bad beer from them yet . You should be able to find them in Williamsburg .

 

I'm a few hours away so not in the know of what local has come out recently but pretty sure Reaver Beach canned Hoptopus (DIPA) over the last couple weeks. That's one of my favorite IPAs in Virginia. Also, if your wife sees any cans Commonwealth Brewing on the shelf they are putting out some amazing stuff.

Hair of the Dog and The Wine Seller are the best shops down there IMO so just have her swing in there and they will lead her in the right direction.

 

I wanted to recommend some locals but wasn't sure what was available up there . I agree about Commonwealth , they have definitely picked it up these days . Big Papi ( DIPA ) is my favorite . Didn't think they made it out of the area . Just checked their site and they do have distro to Richmond and DC / NoVa . Doesn't look like they are in Williamsburg yet .

I think Commonwealth be in in Williamsburg now. I checked Hair of the Dog's social media earlier today and saw they had a tasting with them a couple week's ago. I had several of their beers for the first time a few weeks ago and Big Papi blew me away. Such a great beer! Some locals down there I mentioned having them to said Papi Chulo was even better.

 

Glad to hear they are in the Burg now . I had Big Papi on tap at the brewery and thought it was at least one of the best beers I've had around here . Still have to hit Bench Top in Norfolk . Papi Chulo I had from a 2 -3 week old can and I liked it but not nearly as much as the DIPA .
