    The weather will act like it did during Cubs opening day: Sunny and 70's at one point so that everybody shows up in t-shirts, then rain, then cold and mid 30's to make everybody miserable

    I haven't been to as many as most in this thread, but I think this is right.

    One of my cousins really wants to go to DLD, but he has a messed up work schedule. He was very excited because he has a weekend off for once on the 29th/30th. Then he found out about the date change. :slight_frown:

    The gas station with the White Castle is a good spot to drop people off. This is what we did last year and picked up breakfast. Regarding backpacks, I use a internal frame pack I use to hike with. When packed to the gills, the pack is big according to DLD rules. I usually put all the beer in a cooler bag with some frozen water bottles at the bottle and for the past two years, extra warm clothes on top. Wasn't questioned either year.

    Need to see if I can lock it as a buddy at our table last year has his variant taken.

    Last year in group A, I grabbed a handjee an FVM. WOuld do the same this year, unless the double barrel rumor materializes.

    This is my first year group A, finally. I have no idea yet what I'll do. My wife is tagging along this year so we'll get two to choose from.

    Scotch barrel is so horribly disgusting in a beer. I'd pray for two vintages if that was my only option.

    :grimacing: If his wife is getting a Handjee and also has Bloobs, she'll fit right in with Big Freedia. Luckily I'm not aware of any discriminatory porto-potty laws in Indiana.

    My gf and I are going (Group A)... Thinking Handjee and FVM (unless double barrel, and descent barrels at that, materializes).

    FVM is a coffee variant more or less.

    Also anyone remember the Scotch Bourbon County Proprietors label? The reason that never came out is becuase the beer was apparently terrible.
