Coming up that way soon (5/27) and loves me some OH. Can you tell me if Other Half is now doing a release every Saturday morning instead of every other? Thanks.

Yes every Saturday. Usually alternates 4 and 2 cans, but not exactly.

Thanks. So when you say alternates 4 and 2 cans, does that mean some Saturdays you can buy 4 different beers vs 2 different beers? You can always buy one case per person, right? Thanx again.

Yes. Usually one case per person per beer, but on occasion there is a lower limit.

    Maybe it's Maple Creamies?

Passed by the taproom for a bit today and tried Maple Creamies (along with a few others) and really enjoyed it. It's not something I'd want more than 10-12 ounces of at once due to the sweetness but I think they pretty much nailed what they were going for...DDH Hop Showers needs to become a regular though. I'm a fan of OG Hop Showers but it's certainly an upgrade. Also, $14 for a $64oz fill is a no brainer.

This might just be a release I get myself out of bed for. I'm very interested to experience the Cashmere side of Imaginary Greenscapes. Curious if the lemon/lime side of them are drawn out, as that may be a nice mental twang to counteract the sweetness of the lactose.

Hopping it "to death" will probably do that job on its own, but still curious.

I wonder how the holiday weekend will affect the line situation

Was it confirmed in last months thread that Maple Creamies is barrel aged? Saw nothing on the board about it being aged and I couldn't taste it...

Am I the only one who thought Creamies was borderline undrinkable? In fact I could not have more than two sips of the 4 ounce pour, and I generally like maple and sweet stouts. Cane Life was way too sweet, and this stuff is even sweeter.

I wouldn't say undrinkable. I agree that it is one of the sweetest stouts I've ever had, but it was nice to sip on. I thought Michigan Maple Jesus was sweet, and this was sweeter. Then again, I also really enjoyed Cane Life. I wish it were a little less sweet and had more barrel character.

I'm visiting NYC for the first time. I'm going to be in Brooklyn tomorrow around 5pm. Should I expect the place to be completely packed?

Taproom is very small. It will definitely be busy... but not line out the door packed.

Undrinkable maybe a bit strong. But yeah while I'm glad I tried it, 4oz was plenty

What's the crowd like on Friday evenings at OH? Have only done weekend afternoons/evenings there before and it's always pretty mobbed. Is it any quiter on Fridays?
