Crossing out that Good Gourd made me crap up!

Although I will say, Good Gourd Have Mercy is pretty damn tasty and the best GG I've had.

You can rickety-rack your brain trying to come with a top 5 of all time.. But, it's fun, so here goes, in no particular order:

    King Julius
    '14 BC Vanilla Rye
    '15 BCBS Rare

Honorable mention to dozens of others.

This, he thinks, comes with experience. He's had the same favourites for ten years and is rarely impressed by new beers.[/QUOTE]
Absolutely .A favourite beer of mine is one I first drank 55 years or more ago.
I have watched the beer revolution since it began.Much of what has happened seems to be attempts to be different but this is not the same as better.

Off the top just ones I remember getting that "zen" beer moment from (no order):

    FFF Blot Out the Sun
    St. Bernardus Abt 12
    Prairie Apple Brandy Noir
    Alpine Nelson
Jackie O's x Quaff Bros. Full Allotment

If I really sat down and pondered my near and distant memories, this list would be different.

According to my BA rating, out of 211...

    1. KBS
    2. St Bernardus abt 12
    3. Kasteel Donker
    4. SN Stout
    5. Chimay blue

Now, I know highest rated beer to me aren't necessarily my favorites...

Chimay is the one I can easily get a hold of on. KBS is a rarity, SN Stout as well.

Prairie coffee Okie was #6 in my list but I think it's the one that 'blew me away' the most. So did Tank 7 the first time...
