I was pretty underwhelmed by the Copy + Paste when I had it last night. Didn't taste Juicy or Dank and it had a slight bitterness. I just came off drinking 2 DIPAs so not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Just clarifying, this wasn't me but I think it shows how jumpy everyone is about it. The vibe wasn't great and I heard a lot of talk about it. Staff at Tired Hands seems pretty bent and are impacted by all of this as well.

Side note, tap list at the ferm was very blah again. Mostly IPAs. Tried the lime IPA and was underwhelmed. Tried Hazy Jane and was underwhelmed. I think this brewery has lost its mojo but that's just my opinion. I literally haven't filled a single growler in a year and a half. $18 for Hazy Jane II made zero sense as well. I guess lactose cost a lot.

Did you try Progression Through Unlearning?

I thought that beer was very good; I had two glasses of it.

    Cheers!

I haven't commented on here in a while or got cans in a while because of this. The overall scene surrounding tired hands right now is so negative and horrible. It is not on tired hands at all, I love them and every interaction I've had with any of them. The huge influx of people getting into the trading scene and chasing beers, etc. has just gotten so out of control so fast. Heck remember about a year ago when the line never made it past the first lot, I'm talking very beginning after the initial buzz of cans died a little. This happens to everything though, it gets popular and loses its specialness in a way. Any way spread positivity and maybe it'll get better. Until then I'll stay way unless I can come in and out with cans. Cheers all!

this was spectacular. the bubble was solid as well.

I haven't been in a while and it seems they switched up the breading on the chicken sammich but it still rules.

I had the fried chicken yesterday; I would not recommend it.

Cheers to Tired Hands beers though!!

Yeah, I only just started going to can releases in the past few months and it's just annoying to hear people chatter about how they're trading each and every 4 pack away for something, whereas others are there to actually enjoy the product. Granted, I have no right to tell people what to do with whatever they buy, but it's still eyerolling having to hear people dick wagging about using the cans to harpoon some sick whalez.

I know a guy who went to the Milkshake releases because quote You can trade them for anything en quote.

But most beer geeks/tickers don't drink 12 of any one beer over the course of a few days, right? When you can get three 4 packs I'm not surprised they are traded. If the allotments were lower that may be a different case. Or just more mules.

I really like the Oblivex. Creamy, juicy goodness with just enough herbal/vegetal and peppery notes to keep it from being overly sweet.

The Copy & Paste is subpar for TH and way subpar for HF, but still decent in the wide, wide world of beer. To me, it seems like a blend of East Coast and West Coast IPAs that doesn't do either style any favors.

In terms of the line... This was my first weekday release. I've always looked askew at the whole empty chair thing. I've got to say though that being there, it seemed pretty chill and legit. I just sat in my chair and waited, as a lot of people did, but I did get up to check on my parking spot once, and sort of like the option of popping into the bar for a beer if I had felt like it.

The crowd complained bitterly about the parking situation -- something I feel like the city and TH should work to come up with solutions for. But the folks in line in front of and behind me seemed pretty cool; the staff seemed pretty cool. A lot of what I've seen in these threads had me worried about a shit show, and I didn't experience that at all.

Im coming in from out of town in a couple weeks (4/25-27) and was planning on hitting TH after work. What time does the crowd die down on release days? Or does it not ever die down? In a perfect world I could pull up, grab some cans to take back to Florida and, grab a bite to eat. However after reading this thread it sounds like a circus there. Any tips would be appreciated.

It really depends on the beer that is being released. Some weeks the place is packed, others the beer makes it to the bar and you can show up whenever. I think in general though you can get in line at 4, and be able to grab food before going on your way with maybe 3 hours spent.

I've been about ten times at off peak hours and never had a problem walking right in and getting a table. You can get growlers -- they only fill their own (and usually saison bottles as well). I highly recommend doing that. There are two brew pubs within walking distance of each other, and you can check out the tap list online.

If you want cans, you almost always have to go during a release, which they announce on Instagram the day before. Day varies, but seems to always either be Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday.

Well, the best that I can say here is that I very much enjoyed that beer and my two lunch companions did as well (one had his growler filled with that beer).

    Cheers!

I generally hate the arbitrary exercise of authority, but I hope they ticketed this guy just to make him go through the hassle of fighting it. Have some freaking manners dude!

Hiya folks! I'm trying to strategize on a couple trades and wanted your expert insight into potential milkshake releases...is it fair to assume that since it's been a couple weeks since the extra vanilla, and a month since the blueberry pancake, that we could logically expect a different shake next weekend or in maybe two weeks? Thanks for any thoughts and cheers!

Thanks! Guess that means there's no rush for me to drink what I've got in the fridge, but I'm already trying to anticipate future releases and my best guess based on that spreadsheet of release history I saw is maybe a coconut, mango or such passion milkshake release over the next couple / few weekends? Any thought anyone?
