Fluorescent is very much fresh Nelson. Big aroma, tropical fruit along with the earth it grew out of, on the dry side. Distinctly HA. I'm looking forward to drinking the rest of this 4pk over the weekend.

Really really like Fluorescent. I get a very interesting grape + coconut vibe on the back end that I really really like.

I'm reading positive thoughts And views on fluorescent, but nothing about haziness.

Are we leaving the pitchforks at home again for half acre?

Not entirely clear, but not NE hazy either. Really tasty though. HA's house yeast works really well with Nelson, apparently. They don't think this stuff will last after tomorrow, if it makes it that far.

I really like it. Has a nice white grape burst to it. I could put a whole case away on a warm afternoon. Looks like it's going to 77° tomorrow in Chicago, so that might very well happen.

That will be an expensive afternoon! I know the guy in front of me bought four 4-packs and it was seventy bucks. I think I paid somewhere along the lines of eighty for a case of Heady... Soon I will go back to VT haha.

Heady, or any The Alchemist for that matter, at 12.50 a 4pk is one of the best values in beer imo. So consider their pricing an anomaly these days. I wish I lived near there as I would drink their beers year round and probably nothing else.
Back to Fluorescent, I'm a fan of this beer. Nice showcase for Nelson Sauvin hops. Would like to see this again down the road. I love walking into the shop as the staff are always awesome and one can always overhear nuggets of information. One of the guys mentioned they'll be offering tours of the Balmoral facility on Sundays soon. Deep Space cans in July, GDDC cans likely next month. Looking forward to it. Cheers!

Balmoral space will hopefully be opening this summer, as an optimistic projection I heard. I'm very excited to see what that ends up turning into.

I'll echo what others said. Fluorescent is really good - half acre standard taste with Nelson is great. I'm not drinking a case in a day or anything :grimacing::grinning: but the 4 pack I bought probably won't last the weekend and I have a ton of beer that should theoretically be ahead of it in my FIFO hops rotation.

Fluorescent is down to what they have in the refrigerators. I would say 30 4 packs left maybe? Won't last too much longer.

All gone. Cans and draft. Glad I got to have it last night. Very easy drinking beer.

Looks like I'll have to hope they make this again or another keg shows up.

Fluorescent ran out, both draft and cans, much faster than most of their previous one off can releases. Wonder why that is. Didn't brew as big of a batch? Bigger demand?

Maybe lack of demand on previous batches so they went smaller? Maybe lack of Nelson hops available?

I would have thought the limit would have been lower if they brewed less

It's unfortunate (for me) because this was the one I liked more than Cliffs of Tephra or any of the others they released. When I was there on Friday night, ended up having too many and forgot to pick up the cans. When I went in on Saturday early afternoon to grab some cans… nothing left.
