When are the Pipeworks going on sale?

 

Tomorrow at 5pm, limited to the 100 bottles each, limit 1 bottle per person total not is each one, choose wisely. Better leave now to get in line.

 

They won't be broadcasting it, that's for sure (see their last 2 BA release waves this year). Could be months from now, as this is only label approval stage.

 

It's only label approval guys. They do that a fair amount in advance. If I had to guess (admittedly only mildly educated), we won't see them until May at the earliest.

 

Has anyone tried any of the Bottle Logic stuff, mainly FF or FO?

 

Sure, I'm sure many have. What's your question?

 

Are they worth trading for, especially when people are asking for crazy amounts in return?

 

They're worth it, yes.

 

The VR might have to go if that's the case, or it comes to DLD. One of the two....

 

I've had FO and really liked it. Compared to VR, I thought VR had better mouthfeel and more barrel presence. The FO b2 had more vanilla to me and it really opened up nicely when warmed up. Worth trading for? Yes. Keep in mind FO is a 500ml bottle. Can't comment on FF as I haven't had it (yet).

 

Had Fundamental Forces this weekend...it's really boozy. For me Observation is more enjoyable but if you love that alcohol heat Forces may be more up your alley...

 

Yeah, the one post I saw wanted VR and a + for FF. A little steep imo and considering the 500 to 650 and actual amount paid for. Might just have to take a trip out there one day.

 

On the other hand, I just saw a FF close for 6 bottles of Noir Prairie beers so... it depends on who you trade with.

 

I guess it does, but you're still paying for it at 6:1 and when you talk $4$, forget it. Not sure of the Prairie prices, but the Logic stuff is... 20 - 25 a bottle? I know it's super limited, but does that justify the cost?

 

Every bottle is worth whatever you decide. Just because one person likes it doesn't mean you necessarily will either. If you're willing to take the tradeoff of giving up one bottle for another, do it.

 

Exactly my sentiments... Only worth what you're willing to pay for it. I'm just looking forward to going out east. Me and the lady are taking our beercation. Going to Tree House, Alchemist and maybe Hoof on the way out. If some of you peeps want some stuff, we'll see what we come back with.

 

Gonna pick up some Toonilla soon. Sounds pretty good and for 8 bucks a 4 pack its hard to beat the price. Did the BA version make distro to Chicago?
