    There were no local bands in 2015. But usually there are a couple Chicago area bands.

    Both facts. But I think the debate is 'Chicagoland'or not... the greater Chicago area.

    I will grudgingly admit that FFF technically falls into Chicagoland, but as Indiana's only top-tier hype-y brewery, I'll never surrender them entirely to Chicago.

    Munster is a weird spot though, population-wise. Half of the people rep Chicago, and the other half wear cowboy boots, have confederate flag license plate holders, keep hay in the bed of their pickup truck, and plan on Country Thunder being the highlight of the year. Like, you can see the Sears Tower from your pool deck, you don't live in Alabama....

    I've never seen any of that there. I also can't imagine too many people in the North are sporting confederate license plate holders.
