@Bugsmcl Hay Merchant is pretty impressive, esp. (mainly) the wall of taps. Across the street is El Real, if you're feeling like Tex Mex. You can't miss it It may seem like a basic stop to some, but I actually enjoyed it a lot more than some of the other places I stopped.

 

No need to trade. If u find me and it's open it's up for grabs. And if you wanna increase your odds I believe somebody said they were cracking one at a hotel bottle share the night before.

 

My girl just got an email about her tickets. Neither of us have anything in the mail and I didn't get an email about mine. I think the only logical thing to do is go home, open a folding chair next to my mailbox and sit there drinking beer until the tickets show up.

 

It is the best one too...well I guess I haven't had it in a few years, so maybe it has fallen off.

 

Just saw that fake tweet on Facebook, but at least they changed it to the correct date. This is going to be fun to watch.

We need to come up with a system for ID'ing ourselves as being from here at DLD. It'd be really cool to meet you guys and share a few beers. Has anyone ever tried anything such as the typical "Hello My Name Is" sticker with "BA ChiCubs78" (for example) on it?

 

I'm just going to get a "Hello My Name Is" and put a picture of Sloth Astronaut on it.

 

Either that or come up with a secret handshake.

 

Even that works. I'd recognize it if I seen it. I'm planning on grabbing a plain white label from work (of the same size as the "My Name Is" labels) and putting "BA-ChiCubs78" on it.

 

BA shirt with username on the back, kind of like a T-Shirt jersey.

And to account for the "DLD isn't T-Shirt weather response", BA raincoat with username on the back.

 

Grabbing random people's hands at DLD might be frowned upon.

Good idea but $. A sticker is much cheaper (just not rain proof).

 

Grab some Duct Tape and a Sharpie... Duct Tape solves everything right?

Perfect! I need to do something like this and laminate it at work. Can clip it on the lanyard. @-TK421- where'd you do that at?

 

That works too. Anything that stands out like a name tag or tape that has BA and the screen name on it. I guarantee if I find any of you guys there I'm cracking open something good with you (as long as supplies last).
