    It's not bad, but as I had wanted to try this for a long time (I purchased it in Chicago), I did not feel it was up to what I expected. Still, I am glad I tried it.

    Lagunitas High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout, 12.2% ABV, 39.6 IBU. Pours medium viscosity and black with a one finger tan head on a careful pour. Nose is a bit of coffee, and a hint of bourbon. Taste is mostly coffee, some bourbon but not heavy, some other subtle flavors I could not identify, with a slight bitter close. Not boozy. Excellent mouthfeel. Overall outstanding. I missed this on tap at my usual place, but popped up at another taproom this week. Besides this tap, I also picked up a growler. We never got bottle distribution. Word has it that Lagunitas no longer has a relationship with High West, so the next iteration will have a new bourbon and name.

    Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday... I missed Born Yesterday this year (I question if it even made it to the Hampton Roads VA area), but was glad BAY has hit. I'm skipping Waldo this year, and drinking this. Mighty fine beer... so good.

    Definitely have discovered that. I know I've bought at least 20 glasses in that last 3 months from Goodwill alone. I'd be surprised if that total in dollars has exceeded $20 so I call that a win.
