Yes. A solid call in that area.

Enjoying a crowler of Sqeezit now. Juicy & very flavor-forward.

I had no expectations either way, having never had a Corridor brew, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

Get on that Hubbard's Cave guys. I wasn't a huge fan of the single hop stuff so I had kind of forgotten, but this Fresh series is my pick for best IPAs coming out of the area.

Had a can of Zero Discipline (18th Street version) last night; I was fairly underwhelmed.

To me, it tasted almost exactly like Juice is Loose but a bit more bitter/dry.

But that is why it is such a transcendent beer! Not only do you get a bitter and dry taste in your mouth, but the bitterness carries over into your life when you realize the dryness has also carried over into your wallet from purchasing the beer!

To be fair, though, Zero Discipline is priced exactly the same as Juice. Seems like $5 / can for something in this style is the norm?

At first I wanted to say, "no don't poke the bear". But then I realized something's got to be done to keep this thread ahead of the DLD one in terms of # of pages.

I think carbonation still needs a little tinkering. My bottle did have some carb, but it poured like a homebrew that needed another week conditioning

The DLD thread has freakish momentum right now - it will explode if / when the variants are announced.

Hmm, on tap it was outstanding. I haven't opened my bottle yet, I'll have to compare it to the carbonation on tap and report back.

can anyone give me a little compare and contrast with this batch of hubbards cave with the older ones? I previously tried a couple and swore them off until things got ironed out. I found them flat, muted and frankly yeast bombs. I am curious with the near unanimous positive reviews of this batch

I didn't have any carbonation issues with my bottle.

    I'd call it
I think I'm nitpicking. It's nothing I would ever stop buying Hubbards cave over. My preference would be a higher lever of carb. I think quite a few of the beers in this style need a bit more, but Hubbards particularly. His V4 was the best he's done so far,IMO. Both with hop/yeast balance, and with carbonation

Actually Devils Reign was, but that's not really a part of this discussion

Had both Zero Disciplines this weekend.

    Both are pretty darn good.

The Transient version has that familiar house quality that I've come to recognize in JiL, cromulent, flightless, and most other hoppy offerings. I'm not sure if it's water or some specialty malt... but it always almost always comes through.

And the 18th street version was equally as good, maybe even more suited to my tastes. A familiar yeast character to 18th street. Sweet start, nice lingering finish that you'd find in Rise of the Angels or Villain

Well done by both. I'd seek either out.

I forgot that was the name of one of their beers and thought you were describing JiL in a perfectly cromulent way.

I grabbed a crowler of Squeezit from Corridor yesterday, will be giving it a shot tomorrow night. I will say that the look is at least very on point, so that's a good sign.

hoping to swing by Cruz Blanca today to try their new IPA with lupulin powder. They also state they have a mango version. they aren't calling it NE IPA and it doesn't completely fit the turbid look, but i remember it was mentioned earlier in the thread.
