By the way, let's hope these are our choices and there are sufficient quantities that no one needs to accept a vintage bottle of DL.

 

I think the coffee in FVM really helped to balance the sweetness. Don't get me wrong, they are both great beers but I give the edge to FVM.

Hmm. FMV is in Muscat barrels this year. I don't think I'll have a shot at handjee in group B, but that would be my clear #1 now because of that.

Otherwise, I thought FVM was better than handjee

 

Interesting with the scotch barreled DL. Wonder why they went with muscat for FVM. It was so damn good last year.

You might now. As someone previously commented they have this under the FAQ section for variants, "All ticket holders will receive one 2017 variant OR two bottles of vintage Dark Lord. The 2017 variants will be distributed evenly between groups A-E."

This is GREAT news. So, it does not matter which group you are in.

 

I don't understand how this is going to work.

 

This may be rather dickish of me, but to all of those people that didn't get A tickets and decided to bail on the whole event in general...serves you right!
