So it is not raining in Munster but it is bracingly cold. I can't tell if I would have been ok with this.

 

I can confirm this, as I was standing there when one of the Minions said it.

In any event, my strategy paid off, as I scored two Group A tickets. Now I can score a Handjee! Get me some!

Oh, dammit! They changed how they are selling the variants, so I'm screwed! Noooooooooooooooo! Sumbitch!!!!

Only downside of the in-person is that you have to pick up at will call the day of, and I'm guessing that line could be a shit show, but we'll see. If it turns out to be one, we'll have a good line share opportunity, no doubt.

I read from someone that there was no line for tix as of about 30 mins ago. Can you confirm that?

I left there just after 9:00, and the line was maybe 5 people at that time, and there was a stack of tickets at about 2-3 inches thick remaining. I'm also a member of another FB beer group, and someone there posted a pic as of about 30 mins ago from the pub - no line, no waiting, and quoting that person - still plenty of tix left. (that's third party info, so take it for what its worth)

 

Should be in the 10-15 range.

 

It was freezing in line for tickets. It was really bad.

Yeah, but this is way better than the previous 2 years where it rained from the moment we got there until the moment we left. We'd already be 48 minutes into the fest with no rain. That's already an improvement. I usually leave by 5 so if I only had to deal with 2 hours or so of rain I think I would be ecstatic. However it is quite cold and windy. But I still think this is better.

 

That is awesome! True depression will set in if i don't run into one of you guys wearing these shirts.

Looks like by eliminating a gate that north side is a huge area to be able to just spread out and hang out. Maybe? I can't tell there's no good markers. Looks like a big open space though. Maybe a giant tent?

 

I'm guessing stage in the upper left corner. And open area to hangout.

Possibly a huge tent could go there if the forecast calls for rain.

 

Yeah, that would be a great place for the stage and still plenty of room for people to be if they don't want to watch the bands.

 

Baseless speculation, but here goes:

Green strips = port-a-potties

Blue mid to larger rectangles = guest taps/FFF taps, judging by the ones near the brewpub always FFF taps.

Gold rectangles = food/merch, but seems like too few food stands if that's the case.

Small blue rectangles in the upper left = ? Truck taps that's usually by the stage? therefore
leads me to believe the stage is near where the old north entrance used to be.

Large blue rectangle in the middle = tent

 

Yeah, I'm thinking the Blue are both food & taps, and maybe orange is merch or maybe food trucks?

The larger blue tent in the FFF parking lot is always food.

Some of the small blue square could be ATMs.

 

Oh man one entrance... So are they actually going to let group A people in first or are we going to have to barrel through all the people who are loitering?
