Tuesday's releases. All debuts. Definitely going to be a line for these. No chance of rain (so far) and 80 degrees......And they matched Triple Crossing on the highest price cans ($22/4pk) for RVA. Their move I suppose....
    _______________________________________________________________
In Sink is our second collabo brewtus with our west coast family Monkish Brewing Co.. In Sink is a 9% Quadruple dry-hopped DIPA. This one is down right messed up. This is hands down the most hops we have ever put in beer. Galaxy, Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic are just bursting out of this beer. Like opening a fresh hop bag. Straight up insanity.
(Shooting for approx 80-110 cases. $22+tax/4-pack. 1x 4-pack per person.)

Master Shredder3(cubed) is the triple dry-hopped version of our 5.5% house IPA. The aromatics on this one is insane. Jam packed with hop flavor, and still insanely crushable. (Shooting for approx 180-220 cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person)

Lauterhouse Sessionables is our newest collabo microbrew with our west coast friends Monkish Brewing Co.. Clocking in at 5.5%, Lauterhouse Sessionables is a single dry-hopped Witbier ale. This ale wasn't meant to be a hoppy one, just a super refreshing Witbier with a subtle hop presence from the gentle Citra dry-hop addition. When it comes to a session ale, Monkish and The Veil say "make ours a Lauterhouse!"
(Shooting for approx 105-130 cases. $14+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person.)

    *LIMITS SUBJECT TO CHANGE*

Not saying I like $22 4 packs and dont want to make that a normal thing but a quadruple dry hopped DIPA will have a lot of hops in it and hops are expensive.

    Also youre missing Casual drinks.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday. Assuming it's best to get there early.

So I did! My bad. 4th can....

Price also appears to have increased by $.50. Was $16.00 previously,

This Tuesday May 2nd will be the return of Casual Drinks!

Casual Drinks is an 8.5% DIPA hopped intensely with Citra and El Dorado. V soft, virtually no bitterness, and a nice one to enjoy with friends.
(Shooting for approx 200-220 cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person.)

Depends on "best" and "early" I guess. There's never a need to get there before noon like some people do. 3PM basically always guarantees a full allotment and if they keep these limits, even on the low side, most of these will last into the evening. I wouldn't be surprised if they drop the limits if the yields are on the lower side (Laughterhouse especially - a Monkish collab that could be gone after 210 people seems like a high limit even if it might not be the most popular style).

Typically, even on the craziest releases, you can show up after 4 and still get everything with numbers like the other 3. There has been a noticeable increase at these releases lately and tomorrow will definitely be a big turnout.

I waited for 5 or so hours for that Extra Kreme release and didn't want a repeat of that. The Laughterhouse limits bother me and since I'm driving 1.5 hours I definitely want some of both collab (and to get through the line early). Good looks on 3 pm.

For sure. That was a huge disappointment. I still have 7 cans of it. The one I tries was a juice bomb though, so I kinda have a weird appreciation for the long haul.

I love that they're poking fun at all the drain pours with the title of this collab being In Sink, upside down label is a great touch.

I'm curious how EK is now - I had a few over the course of a few weeks and didn't really get a "burn" so much as chewed up Tylenol. None left tho, and I'm okay with that.

I had one last weekend. It had changed some and jokes aside, it actually wasn't that bad. That being said, you can get any number of "not bad" beers on any store shelf nowadays, given all the circumstances EK was/is overall pretty disappointing.

Yeah, I left the last 2-3 ozs in the can and it was super juicy. I'll update when I open some more. I've been pretty happy with it in can versus how the draft pour was.

Are crowlers available all the time now, or was that just because of the leftovers from the anniversary party? Getting into Richmond on Friday and was wondering if there would be any possibility at getting some crowlers.

Definitely more crowlers because of a lot of draft left after the party. Crowlers have always been pre-filled and semi-surprise announcements. Usually you can count on them at the 3rd Thursday happy hour for the limited brew they release that day, but otherwise it's sporadic. Not to say there's no chance they have them on Saturday but you likely wouldn't know until Friday if so.

2:15pm line update (from what I can follow on the BTV posts). Line is out of the parking lot and is now going down the sidewalk by the auto shop. My guesstimate of at least 80 people with 1 hr 45 before open.

I was excited to try the Master Shredder Cubed, it sucks that they packaged it with a super hype BS collab release.

Looks like they dropped the limits from 3 to 2 on each of those except InSink which is still at 1x (obviously)

I really like they have In Sink at 1 4pk since that's probably what most people came for.
