Cool, I'll be on the lookout for the House Lager. Otherwise sounds like the same options as last year... was hoping there was something new and exciting... Off to Yardhouse now for a bite and a beer before the game.

Any 2017 updates on where to find good beer at Fenway? Will be visiting for the first time. Grandstand 19, if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Best bets are on Yawkey Way and the concourse behind home plate.

Is there any decent beer in the Green Monster section? Or should I get some Jack's at one of their sections and bring it over? Going next week.

I was there on opening day and looked around a fair amount, best options to me were Finestkind pint cans and Jack's Abby House lager. Going to the game tomorrow, anything I missed that I should look for?

I would suspect there are not that many options on the Monstah, but can't say with certainty. There is a good selection on the third base side above the grandstands if you're able to walk over there.

Those are the best of the bunch, IMO.

Went up the monster a few times last year. If you take the staircase on the first base side downstairs, they had Wannamango and Jack's Abby pounders. Early in the season I believe they had some other IPA's and such as well.

The real answer is to set up at the Lower Depths (or whatever it's called now) and get a nice buzz on beforehand.

It's still called The Lower Depths.

Great to hear they have Jack's Abby there now! Last year had the Goose Island IPA... very good. Followed up with a Camp Wannamango and immediately regretted not getting another Goose Island.

Yeah, House Lager is so far superior to anything else there (to me at least) so I stuck with that one all night.

House Lager "so far superior" over Smutty IPA?? I guess we all have our preferences

House Lager is an excellent example of a style I don't really like, so I always go for Finestkind myself. What would be a real game-changer would be something like Excess cans...

Yes. Not a big fan of smutty's IPAs. I would love it if they had Vunderbar there though.
