Roadside in Blaine has a 2013-2016 Bourbon County flight for $26. A little steep for me, but I'm sure there will be some takers.

Project 3106 and Mango Mama (for those of you who like that beer much more than I do) are on at Town Hall Brewery in the Seven Corners area.

Also, it seems they've upgraded some of their food menu, and in a good way.

For you guys that don't mind driving a bit west, Hooey, Blissful Ignorance, and Straight Hash Homie are on at Hollywood Roadhouse. Hooey is my favorite of the 3.

Starting tomorrow, Ansari's will have crowlers of Junkyard Simcoe Single Hopped DIPA available for on-site consumption. They are finally entering the Twin Cities market. Hopefully we start seeing crowlers in stores as well.

We are launching a charity tap at Sisyphus I'm really excited about, copy pasted info here:

You might know we named our brewery Sisyphus because of our small size and brew system (2 barrel or 62 gallon system). Surly makes more in 1 of their new big fermenters than we make all year, just for an idea of perspective.

But you probably don't know the name truly comes from my lifelong struggle with mental health issues. Discovering brewing and and owning my own business honestly changed my life. But I would never be at this point if before that, The Myth of Sisyphus hadn't changed my life. And the other thing that changed my life: seeking help for mental health issues that are real, common, and treatable.

Today we are launching what was my goal from the start, a tap dedicated to giving back. Our first one goes towards NAMI - The National Alliance on Mental Illness. https://untappd.com/b/sisyphus-brewing-for-nami-nah-mean/2084423

So please come in and toast a pint to a great cause! I could not be more excited to be at the point where we can give back to the world. We started small to stay small, but giving back will hopefully always be a part of that from this day forward.

    Cheers!

    -Sam

Thank you so much for sharing Sam. Being open about your own struggles helps so many others with theirs. Openness leads to understanding by all and leads to further acceptance for all of us who struggle with mental health issues.

Thanks for the info! I'm going with a bunch of co-workers and its good to know there will be one beer to hunt down! Was worried it be all summer beers and the regular lineups from places.

I went last year for the first time. The vast majority of breweries just bring flagships and seasonals, since it is a generic beer festival. There were almost no lines for beer because everyone was in the bacon lines. The Groupons this year were pretty cheap, so any limited releases are a bonus.

Also at Grizzly's- Disgruntled Persnickity. Bourbon barrel aged Brett Saison. Pretty cool, the bourbon is there but takes a backseat to yeast/funk, at least until it warms.
