I don't go every week but I am a stay at home Dad with kids that are tweens so it's pretty damn easy to go a few times a week if I so desire. Getting rid of fresh TH for trade or sale is easy as pie so why not if you can?

Ah yes, the infamous 5 hour lunch breaks people take on Thursday and Friday.

Last time I went the people in front and behind me were on (different) work conference calls the entire 45+ minute wait. So that seems to be a thing.

Agreed; I've seen this before too. If people want to get TH beers badly enough, they seem to make it happen.

Boston/Cambridge is a tech startup hub. If people want to go out on a weekday afternoon to get TH beers, they certainly can - be available if needed via email/phone, and chances are you're working nontraditional hours anyways.

Every company I've worked at around here has a "I don't care what time you're in the office as long as you get your shit done" attitude. So... "OMG don't you people have jobs" is a stupid question.

I don't personally sell TH beers but I trade for beers I can't get in MA.

DDH Julius is JJJuliusss. Alter Ego is basically Julius but with Mosaic as the primary hop rather than Citra (I think Julius is mostly Citra-forward... others may correct me).

I have done conference calls while my cooler and growlers waited in line for me before opening.

Quite a bit of people have the flexibility in their jobs to be out of the office during normal business hours as long as the work is getting done.

I believe Nate has also said that nothing is really DDH cuz that would be an insane amount of hops.

Anyway, I'm psyched to crack open an Alter Ego tomorrow. I haven't had one since before it got its own legit can.

Years of drinking Trillium have made "DDH" my go-to word to describe extra-hopped. Thanks for the Amarillo addition.

Incidentally, am I right about Julius-Citra?

Nah, I think it was more a Freudian slip. Nobody was talking about selling or trading beers until you told us (unprovoked) how easy it is

I believe Julius was originally called "Citra" back during the beginnings of TH. The recipe has been tweaked several times since then as Nate has mentioned. I would venture a guess that it is still primarily citra forward with some other accent hops.

I put myself through grad school scalping low numbers at the deli. I once sold a 3 for $28.

There's definitely a mix of of ppl from different jobs. I work in construction within 495 in mass. I've only been 4 or 5 times but if I have a job that I finish early and I'm within get an hour of treehouse at my jobsite I will go. Other ppl who work retail or in any hospitality industry generally have to work on weekends and get a couple midweek days off. Not everyone is a slave to the man!!
