    I had it on tap during the pre-DLD event and really wasn't too impressed by it at all. Good to hear bottles are better.

    The batch 1 is one of the best barleywines ever IMO, batch 2 not so much. I don't think batch 2 is that hard to trade for based on my experience. It's not bad, but not anywhere near the level of batch 1.

    Plus....I had it on tap at the Flossmoor party this year the night before DLD and I loved it

    Was the batch 1 what was on tap the day before DLD? Whichever batch that was was pretty stellar.

    I know I might get some WTF comments on this but...I've sent KH 1:1 for batch 2 multiple times and I have been happy each time. My taste buds just prefer the BB HiFi more.

    anybody think a batch 2 could fetch a 100% BA Cuir? Or should?

    only one way to find out. personally, i wouldn't trade a BA Cuir for a batch 2, but would trade a BA Cuir for a batch 1. i found batch 1 and 2 to be 2 distinctly different beers.

    I traded a Batch 2 for a BA Abominable and I believe both parties were quite happy.
