Other Half Brewing May 2017

Aaaaaand my work is done.
Took a few days but this thread is back...with a vengeance.

 

I think it needs to be amped up a bit, looking ahead one week is too easy, what cans will be next week, the week after and the week after that!

Has anyone checked on the IG thread recently to see if that woman that was offered the Broccoli Teku Indecent Proposal ended up going to Vegas?

 

She turned him down in the Cheddar Teku post i think...

Quick question.. I've been to 1-2 other half releases a month for the past 2 1/2 years I know the guy who checks Ids and I'm fairly certain he recognizes me but, stupid me lost my ID this morning I'm in my late 20's. I'll still be good right? Don't want to make the trip and leave empty handed

In all seriousness, as someone who comes in the afternoons usually... there's an ID checker? I have never experienced that. Maybe I'm a VIP?

 

I don't think it's a good idea to discuss whether OH cards intensively or not on a public forum, however I'd recommend bringing an alternate form of ID such as a passport just in case.

 

Not really asking about the ID checking policy more along the lines of if they'd cut someone a break who they may recognize. My passport is 1200 miles away

Haha I'm reading the comment section now and I'm doubting this is real. At this point if they haven't moved to some form of PMing, I'm bewildered as to how they are continuing this convo on a public forum.

 

I had no idea they check ID's. I'm 26 but get carded pretty much everywhere because I look like a teenager and have never been carded at OH, let alone any brewery.

 

Wondering how long the line will be with the amount of rain that's suppose to be coming in.

 

Like you, I have been going to Other Half releases every month for the last couple years and have never been IDed.

I wonder how many people tomorrow will go to OH just to see the end of the briguystone/caseyholland923 story. Also, I can see a horde of creeps buying tekus just or the purpose of luring girls ... I don't even care about the beer anymore

 

Can anybody tell me if they allow you to "trade-in" growlers not to their specifications for an Other Half growler like Tired Hands does?
I have 7 x 32oz growlers and really don't want to pay for any more.

 

First time I went in with a noncompliant growler and requested a fill they just filled one of their own and charged me for the fill and not the glass. I am not sure if that is an established practice or a fluke.
