I do enjoy the Founders Harvest and need to pick some up soon. I'm not sure if the 2012 hit Long Island beer stores yet?

I just got a growler fill of Blue Point Wet Hops Experiment on Friday from the brewery and my wife and I polished it off in less than an hour.

I've also enjoyed Surly Wet in the past.

I don't think it has hit stores anywhere, yet. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong..

I was thinking it's usually released mid - late October and hoping I didn't miss it. Thanks for the reply!

Broo Doo, the day it was put on tap, was pretty impressive.

No doubt. Got a couple of drafts of this year's Broo Doo about an hour after it was tapped. My faves: Founders Harvest Ale and Broo Doo. Looking forward to a shipment of Surly Wet a friend is sending me this week.

    Two Brothers Heavy Handed.

Not only are these IPAs delicious, but they let you appreciate the qualities of the hops they use by brewing up different batches using different hop varieties. This year they're brewing Heavy Handed with Centennial, Crystal, Cluster (two fields), and Willamette hops. Heavy Handed is the beer that made me fall in love with wet-hopped beers.

Imagine going up to the deli counter and asking for a lb of ham and the clerk saying they'll only sell it to you if you buy [more].

How is that any different than a bottle shop charging exorbitant prices for beer? "We'll sell this limited beer to you if you give us an extra 20 bucks"

In the case of liquor stores, you (you personally) are all about capitalism and free enterprise but apparently you have different views when it comes to lunch meats?

I haven't had Wet this year, but last year it blew me away. Couldn't agree with you more on the Humulus Lager, it's my favorite.

Founders Harvest Ale is by far my favorite.
Port High Tide is also quite good.
And stay the hell away from Weyerbacher Harvest...
