That is on (my...collectibles)...like I said some "salt of the earth" individual is selling it on ebay at 125. Honestly, OH should buy it to ID whoever it is and ban them. The threat alone would probably curb some of the reselling.

 

Just curious as to how you think a small brewery would go about banning someone?

You can't ID them. The glasses are all the same. They're mass produced. A private brewery isn't gonna pay a PI to fingerprint some slug selling a Teku for $125. They got the price they set.

The $15 teku 2 pp was fine. Right where it should be. It's the beer that's the problem. TH beer sells on eBay for $15-$20 a can. Juice Machine $70 for A CAN. NYC and NJ has enough beer stores and bodegas to avoid eBay, and they'll get paid cash only. Making a grand on their shit. The only way it stops is better limits where a business turd says it's not worth it if I can only make $100.

 

I think the threat alone would curb some of the behavior. However, as other posters have pointed out in the past...this is all moot, because what would be OH's motivation to do so?

I might be able to go to a release this weekend. I'm a newbie to OH releases. Can someone give me a good idea what time, where to park, etc? I really want to be on the line around 10am.

I know it's an hour or two later, but I'm wondering how this Saturday's LIC Pile of Crowns release will affect things at OH.. Hoping it compels people to pass on full allocations, but who knows anymore...

 

Divide and conquer with the mules. I don't think LIC ever sells out of beer so you can stop by and get those later?

LIC has sold out of the more "hyped" beers they've released (the Sand City collabs come to mind, and I believe there may have been others). Pile of Crowns is probably their most lauded beer, so I'm thinking a sell-out is possible. Either way, for anyone who is shut out from OH, Pile of Crowns is quite the consolation prize!
