Growler fills at CBX tomorrow. I am intrigued. Hope it's still there by the time I get off work!

It's hardly an exclusive beer if they sent some to the hinterlands.

I don't think zac16125 implied it was an exclusive
And if by hinterlands you mean Columbia, yes, a keg is shipping up tomorrow. I hope I get to try it too! It was an allocated beer and I am not sure how many kegs Ed made.

    Where in Columbia?

If it's not exclusive, it's not worth drinking.

For the record, and despite any comments herein, two kegs of this have left the brewery. Two - one for CBX, one for GBX. This has been quadruplicatedly confirmed by the brewery after posting the CBX release info on our calendar. Sorry, Cola BA's, you're gonna have to get in the car for this one.

The good news is, I guess it's worth drinking again

Honestly it would be a coin flip for me if this was worth driving to the other side of Columbia for, never mind Charleston. Now the 100% Brett Lichtenhainer is another story... but I really hope it makes it to Cola.

I am interested in trying this, not sure I would want to make the trek from Charlotte though...

I have an invoice for World of Beer, allocated by Ed. They are planning to stash it for a brewery collab dinner in January.

Barrel Aged Citrus Ninja, Trippel, and 100% Brett Lichtenheiner all in one week? Jumping Holy Moses. ROAD TRIP!

And I forgot the Kudu event with Lichtenheiner, Apple Brandy Imperial Stout and Red Wine Barrel-aged Quad (among others). Better get a hotel room for that hypothetical road trip.

OK, I stand corrected. I went back and looked at the invoice and Columbia is getting an apple brandy barrel aged Stout. Not ABB citrus ninja. My apologies.

Maybe best to exercise a little discretion in posting info on unannounced events in the future? Just my $0.02, not worth a penny more.

I try really hard to have good communication with BA's on beers in my territory and answer questions, and my intentions are pure. I don't see other SC distributors chiming in on this board, and maybe I shouldn't anymore. Sometimes I make a mistake. I have apologized. That's my .02, nothing more.

There was no mention of exclusivity, I was just being a smartass.

I'd be much more interested in the apple brandy stout myself. Or that wine barrel quad. Wonder if either of those will find their way up to the Upstate?

Drinking it now from Greenville Beer Xchange. Interesting. Feels More like a an old ale than a double Ipa. Def a unique brew. I need to let it warm up a bit.

I was implying nothing more than that I hoped I could get some, which I did. Going to crack the growler shortly, I'll post back with an update on the taste. I'm expecting sweet Barley wine as opposed to DIPA, although it was double dry hopped. We shall see.
