I'm with you guys though not sure if you're bringing enough, but then realizing you probably are and having to carry around too much stuff.

 

Amidst everything else that has been going on around here I completely forgot about the hot sauce. I haven't heard anything about it for this year. There were a lot of issues with last year's batch so they may not make it again. I was one of I'm not sure how many people that were given a refund.

They're still giving refunds.... I emailed them about my infected bottle and they said bring it to the brewery kiosk and they'd give me a $15 gift card.

I started my process last night of doing a dry run of fitting all my bottles into my backpack cooler. Just not sure if I have enough space, or if I need to go to my full large backpack (which isn't technically a cooler). I'm going to try and keep it with the backpack cooler, but some of the bigger bottles such as Hardywood Rum GBS and Rye BA Vietnamese Speedway make it tougher for my cooler to close when they are standing up. I'm already using a neoprene 6 pack for some of the smaller bottles.

I'm also doing stuff like making sure my portable phone charger is ready and figuring out which snacks I have available to take.

 

If you have an idea of what you'd like to crack first (line beers), then I would suggest keeping those in a separate cooler that morning for as long as possible and carrying with you separately. That may give you a little more space in your bag.

What time does it usually start? Do we get into a conference room or something? How has it worked in the past.

 

You need to change your beer calculus to consider the number of bottles you will empty before you enter the grounds. Kind of like oversellling airplane seats, if you catch my drift. Then just bring the couple two-tree you want to drink first in a cloth bag that you can easily fold up and stuff in a pocket somewhere.

And then look for me, if you are worried about not drinking it all.

Also good to know. I never heard anything official about this, only a couple rumors. Was it "food poisoning and death" infected? Or just "BCBS" infected? Cuz I opened mine early this year and it was really bubbly but didn't taste that bad. Only had a little tho.

 

Last year, it took over the sitting area next to the lobby and bled into the neighboring conference room.

 

If the main ticket holder enters, can he come out to retrieve the guest ticket holder? Or does the guest ticket holder have to go in at the same time as the main ticket holder's first entry? The FAQ page doesn't really talk about it

Bottles were fermenting and either leaking through the wax seal, bubbling when opened, or essentially turned into a volcano when opened.

 

No changing of calculus needed - I'm already taking that all into consideration to see how best to handle it all. I'll probably be inclined to break open those bigger sized bottles earlier in line to unload them quicker. And, I have a 2 bottle neoprene wine bag as well I may factor in for bringing those bigger bottles.

You have to check-in with the person that's name is on the ticket. Yes, the main ticket holder can come out to retrieve the guest ticket holder. The guest cannot enter without the main ticket holder.
