Was one of my favorite beers at the bruery anniversary

 

Talked to Bob about this one the other day and I brought up the comparison, his response was "Company of Parrots on steroids." Consider me maxed the fuck out

 

Thanks for this! Company of Parrots might be my favorite from them so I'm all in.

New Heights was amazing on tap. One of the most fruit forward saisons I've had from them. Glad I got my 5 already.

 

I mean, when tossing them back all weekend at the anniversary and at the herm, it's delicious as all hell. But on paper I can't help but chuckle at how some would think we've reached critical levels now that a Barrel aged hazy double IPA exist. .

It's so good though.

 

Grabbed 4, left 1 more for the public to hopefully grab instead of a double dipper! hahahah

 

has anyone had any of the company of parrots recently? I was moving my wine/beer storage and came across 3 btls of batch 1 and batch 2, figure i should drink em.

Bought my btls of the New Heights based off a very very complimentary review from a buddy.

 

I drank mine early on since they are hoppy-ish

 

I still have a bottle of batch 1. Didn't care for the last bottle I drank long after the release.

 

Yeah, Company of Parrots was drinking so well fresh I drank all of them immediately

 

Hell yeah! The quesadilla is going on the menu! Something is going to be dropped though.

 

The chicken sandwich has gone down in consistency lately. Used to be my go to. Now half the time I get big chunks of gristle or it's under cooked.

My vote is to drop the curry though

 

I think they're still deciding but I know which one is at the top of the list to eliminate. And it's not the curry or the chicken sandwich.

 

Fish sandwich?

It's the only item on the menu I've never ordered. Maybe I'm missing out on something amazing tho...

 

Agreed with the curry, it always stuck out to me as a weird item to have on the menu. Now, a nice bowl of chili, that'd make more sense to have. Curry? Nah, and I love me some curry.

 

Y'all are crazy. The curry naan is tasty as fawk.

 

Had the fish sandwich for the first time a couple weeks ago. Tasty as hell. Right there with the chicken sandwich and the meatloaf burger.

 

On a side note, I could see this turning into another Beachwood nachos thing where there were like 6 straight pages of comments about them changing the chips, lol.

 

I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been murmurs about the recent beachwood menu changes.

Don't get me wrong it's cool to have fermented spicy veggies on a plate, but don't have them replace carrots and celery for the wings, those were supposed to be a cleanser.

As for Hermosillo food, I'm hoping they do they Rueben fritters again because I just happened to miss that window they were there and they sounded great.
