Tried to make egg burritos last year and eat them on the way--made them way too far in advance (really only a couple days) and they turned into a soggy mess and I think started turning.

So, dem Cheetos sounds much more appetizing, although, the old lady is talking boring ass pretzel sticks instead. :flushed: And yep, scored me some tix even though I was holding out, so I'll be wearing that rain gear with yall again this year no matter wtf kind of weather is coming for us!

Never been to the Great Taste. Never been able to get tickets. A good event?

Just to be clear, FFF did not do unlimited pours last year included in the ticket price. That is a pretty big difference.

You will be fine. It doesn't matter. You can walk around with nothing to share. If you have an empty glass, people will offer you beers.

Damn man, Kentucky Christmas Morning is absolutely not a "shit bottle" - find me and I will gladly take a pour and offer one in return. But yeah, people tend to be pretty generous, so don't sweat it. Bring whatever cool beers you have and you will not struggle to find people willing to share... especially if you have stuff like KCM!

Based on the map and what happened last year, the line for bottles should be absolutely no problem at all to get through quickly. You'll enter near where the new addition is, go through some cattle lines and grab a tote bag. Last year I was literally in the bottle pickup line for 15 minutes, and 13 of those were just walking through all the barriers without stopping. You shouldn't have to be separated from your folks for too long.

I've never been to Huna Day and the OP simply mentioned sh*t was included. For all I knew it was like DLD last year, hence my response...pee pee face!

Guess we all shouldn't have complained about variants this year....:flushed:

Outside of DLD, its definitely my favorite midwest beer event. For me, DLD is more about the bottle sharing. The entire weekend in Madison is just a fun, low key time. Its one beer tasting event that the brewers themselves often go to.

Really glad my sister lives in Madison. She and her boyfriend got in line at 5am for tix, so I'll finally get to go to this.

This is the part of GToM I find hysterical:
    • Since this IS Wisconsin, children whose attending parents wish their children to sample beer must pay the full admission price. Parents of consuming children cannot allow their children to ask for pours. The parent must hand the minor the drink and must remain with the minor at all times. No exceptions!

Then why not adjust the price (by more than 20$) to compensate for this?
