heard from a dude on facebook that they're handling the whole thing this year and cut out the event coordinator completely

 

October 2016- Event Coordinator calls FFF "Just checking in to make sure everything is set for DLD 2017, we'll take care of the event insurance, fence rentals, update the twitter site, we'll make sure there are variants for 10,000 peopl....what? You don't need us anymore? There are a lot of details you are probably overlooking, are you sure you are going to be able to handle this yourself?"

 

if this is true, let's hope they learned their lesson the past few years. none of us need another porta-potty mudslide.

Was the porta-potty mudslide section the one where you had to walk on wooden boards to get to?

 

I remember I was kinda drunk and thinking "don't fall, don't fall" and then i crossed those boards and did a mini fist pump.

 

The pallet bridge to the porta johns was excellent. Was near the stage...2015 I think?

 

I was referring to 2012 (or maybe it was the 15th anny party), when you had to walk behind the porta johns while in the bottle line, which were at a slightly higher grade than where you stood in line. it was a mess. that was when the fest was still enclosed in the breweries lot. I believe it was after that they hired an event company.

 

I do believe it may not have met OSHA standards or fire code.

 

It's random and even distribution ratios so it affects everyone in all groups.

 

The groups have an equal number of people. They aren't adding more people to Group A, these tickets were held back from the original online sale for the purpose of selling at the brewpub.

 

Just got my latest shipment from a Tavour.com. Some of these may make the trip north with others I've already chosen.

• Just tried Melvin Lambda Triple IPA. EXCELLENT! Clocks in at 13%
• Got Barrel Aged Yeti and Espresso Oak Aged Yeti from Great Divide
• Also got Asterisk Double IPA from Melvin
• Black Raven La Mort Bourbon sounds promising

Need to lock down my list tomorrow.

I understand that. I was just making the point that if the tickets weren't sold. Bottle count for each group would be ratio adjusted.
