    My experiences aging this beer have been spotty at best but the 2010 is particularly good tonight. Here's to the independents.

    G' evening BA's! Hope everyone's been doing well! Happy May-tallica!

    Been a horrible couple of weeks for me and the family. 2 of our cats have had health issues. One of them had to be put down, so it's been real shitty as of late. The other had to have surgery to remove a yo-yo string and spindle it had eaten and is not recuperating. And of course now the wife's minivan is going to need more work done. SMH. Not complaining but...DAYUM!

    Anyway, this is the first beer I've had in a few days...canned 2/17/17 and STILL tasty as Hell!

    The first thing I noticed was the light color. The ABV on this one is low especially compared to most of their other IPAs.

    Magnify Headaches

    Double IPA is hopped with Simcoe, Centennial and Hallertau Blanc and dry hopped with lots of Simcoe lupulin powder.

    Finally I can get outside for a few. Decided to give this a shot since I liked their DIPA so much. Really tasty stuff in the West coast vein like the DIPA. Canned 2/21. Probably be a bit more aromatic if fresher. No complaints though.[​IMG]

    BAs, I'm thankful this evening. My high school football coach (@vabeerguy), who is now my good friend, sent me some VA beers to drink. He hasn't lost his touch; however, as he tracked the delivery to my doorstep.

    vabeerguy: Hunter, you weren't there for Two-A-Days.
    Hunter: Coach, that was 20 years ago.
    vabeerguy: Same cavalier attitude. I bet you're still yelling LARRRGE in the showers.
    Hunter: I don't shower in public these days.
    vabeerguy: Do you want to be relegated to the bench, son?
    Hunter: Do you want to keep your job? You can't win without me!
    vabeerguy: You can't have casual drinks without me!

    This was rating #2000, hence all the #winning decoration hahaha! Still believe they can take down the new Kevin Durant show that is the Warriors now--Bron did it when KD had Westbrook and Harden at his side, so why not when he's got Curry, and Green, and Thompson, and, sheeit!

    Anyway, this beer is mind blowing, absolutely phenomenal. But this was not necessarily intended to be a celebration beer, it's just that the timing of this landing on my porch worked out that way, so here it is.

    I really don't care about rating #2000 as much, as I have fewer reviews than ratings. When I hit review #2000, that will be a big deal to me, so I'll probably crack a big one then, thinking a Labatt or PBR :stuck_out_tongue:

    Hoping I'm wrong that the Caps season will go by way of my stash. Caps shocked me by dominating last game. They aren't fooling me, though; I'm very skeptical they can get to three straight and the next round.
