Anyone having flavors fall off with the recent PP can releases? I have noticed the MOTB cans juice and hop flavors are fading, and the YGTJN cans are falling off real quick, the malt is really coming forward.

"PP" is, always has been, and always will be short for "Pizza Port," even in a Pure Project thread.

Plz come up with another abbreviation.

    "PuPr?"

I think "Pure" is short enough imo.

It's the way those beers are designed. Also if they got high DO levels, the hop character is going to fall off really quick as well.

    Is that pronounced Pooper?

So what are the thoughts on the recent can releases from Pure Project? I have been ignoring them for now, trying to cut back. But are they as good as the beers they've had on tap?

I can just give you a can if you want one man.

Formless Reflections is great, has that grassy, earthy taste, reminds me of Tree House Green.

    I would buy it again

Maybe I am just really thirsty, but I think it's tasting better right now than it was a week ago. The aroma still promises more than the flavor delivers, but it keeps me wanting to go back and have another gulp.

Sounds good. So far the only one I've really liked was Goodbye Pluto. Though they've all be fairly solid.

How difficult is it to get these new release cans? I was there a few weeks ago on vacation from Florida and really enjoyed their stuff. Ive been wanting to acquire some more of their cans.

Well since you are from Florida, it is incredibly difficult. We have to sit outside all night not having bottleshares in an industrial complex's parking lot all hoping that our number on our ticket, handed out by the brewery employees, matches up with their lotto draw of who gets to buy cans.

For various other states, we just walk in and purchase. Yes there is a line prior to opening but they have yet to sell out to that line.

I've gone in between 1 and 3 pm for all releases and had no wait. For one of them, I did drive by just before noon, saw about 100 people who must have felt like sitting in a line that day (or, to be fair, had to go at a specific time due to work break constraints), and decided to go home and come back later.

Kinda sad I am unable to pickup tomorrow (member pickup) as I am out of town. I bet the moonraker collab is good.

I doubt the moonraker name will greatly increase the sell out time of the new release. I don't think they are very well known down here. Unless they drastically sped up the process I would say get there at 2 if you don't want to wait in line. Last time I got there at 1 and ended up waiting for no reason. Then if you don't get any you can always go to Burgeon on Saturday and get their release.

The moonraker collab was pretty tasty, and I can't say I have liked any other moonraker beer I have obtained.

I was there for only a pour and I watched case after case get purchased.

Yeah I would expect that any collab they do with pure would be better than anything from Moonraker themselves, which wasn't great when I visited.

I've only had Yojo, Dojo, and Mosaic Crush from Moonraker, and while the first two were pretty mediocre, I thought Mosaic Crush was super good for how light it was. Makes me really want whatever the "bigger" version of it is... think it's Mosaic Double Crush or something like that. Anyway, I have high hopes for Pure's collab with them.
