Every year people e-mail them this exact question and they seem to skirt around answering it straight on and just say "you both must enter together".

But yes, several people have done exactly what you suggest. Person A (name is on tickets) enters fest on their own, later comes out of the fest, joins their buddy in line and gets them into the fest.

I'm not sure if FFF is being intentionally thick when reading these e-mails, or just don't want to encourage people to do that scenario.

Eating at the brewpub tonight.... What's a must try on FFF's current menu? Are their pizza's good? That patty melt is also looking pretty tasty.

The ramen is damn good, pizza is always a safe bet, I wish they would bring back the Duck sausage Scotch Eggs!!!

 

I wish they brought back the wings. They were the best wings I've ever had in my life.

 

Their Mac and cheese is fire. Honestly the apps and small plates are the best. We always just get a few of each to feed a group.

 

I haven't been since they updated to the new menu. As TheKlevin said, the ramen is always good. Usually anything there with pork belly is good, so I'll try that sandwich next time I'm there.

 

The pizzas are very good. Haven't had the new menu, but when I go with friends, we usually get a pizza, and then a few small plates to share amongst everyone.

 

Those dry rubbed coffee wings were stellar.

 

The pizza is pretty good, but make sure to get an order of the beef jerky. Its unbelievably good

Doing this won't make the guest ticket fail to scan properly when he tries to enter?

 

I brought Sunburst Peacock last year and it was very well received with the people I was around.

 

Yeah. No sauce, only dry rub and smoked. Absolutely awesome

 

Don't bother with the black walnut gnocchi. It's good but my least favorite dish ive had there. Lots of vinegar-y ingredients which is normally fine but it needed some sweetness too. Meh.

 

I'm bringing GDDC so I will look for a few more basic beers from Chicago. Thanks for your input.

 

The special tonight is the Dragon Abortion. I'm not sure what it is but I bet its hilarious.

 

Anyone have a Zombie vs Unicorn yet? Saw it on today's tap list at the brewpub... it has to be good.

 

Same here. I feel bad for the poor guy who clicks on "Choose my room for me".

Meanwhile, I'll be sitting pretty up on the second floor.

 

As someone who has never "flipped a variant", I used to go to see friends, meet new ones, and have fun. It's become increasingly less fun every year. That said, I'm expecting a LOT less line time and a nice forecast.
