Oh so pretty.

 

I really hope that everyone has a kick ass time at DLD this year. I'm really optimistic that this will be the best DLD I've attended. Looking forward to nice weather, awesome shares and guest taps, hanging with friends, and hopefully meeting some of you a**holes.

Based on the likes I've seen, it looks like we have a BA meet-up location for Saturday.

 

I'd honestly be surprised if this works. But damn it all we will still try!

 

Did anyone here have the first iteration of Wooden Hell from Flossmoor Station? I would like to try my chances at getting 1 or 2 bottles Friday night, but that will be a costly trip since I'm flying in and staying at Hyatt McCormick Place.

Right now I'm kind of thinking of making a night out of Kuma's Corner, The Beer Temple, and Local Option.

Revolution's brewery is right next to Kuma's Corner, unless you are referring to Kuma's Too which is close-ish to Local Option.

 

How abougbt high noon! Easy to remember and since most of us are in A/B we will have gotten our allotment and those in later croups will be right next to the line ready to go in.

I think GDDC will be very prevalent on Saturday.

 

Going to the original for the proximity to Beer Temple. Seemed like a solid stop to find some stuff to take back home, and perhaps visiting a Binny's as well.

 

I will surely have some. Will be at the "BA meetup spot" during the day. Getting to the fest at 11:30.

 

I've inadvertently broken the rules twice on this thread. Thankfully both times I was let off with a warning.

 

I wasn't aware there were rules. Which ones have you broken?

 

Regarding BA Meetup location time: My wife and I are in Group E so we'll probably get there no earlier than 11. Sleeping in after Friday's festivities is definitely on the agenda.

 

Is the meet up spot North of the big tent?

 

That will be perfect timing. You'll get in the festival right at noon and can come get tasty pours from those of us that have been there since 7.
