Nope! 4 of us in 1 car driving 5 hours from Cleveland. I'll be riding shotgun drinking a beer and ranting about dragon abortion on the ride.

 

I've just read through the entire thread and counted all of the posts that are helpful, constructive, valuable, or relevant to DLD. That number.... 32 (obviously not counting this post). Carry on...

Been following this thread for a while and I'm really looking forward to DLD. I have a Group A ticket this year so I plan to get there around 8 am.

Anyway I'm totally in for the BA share at high noon. I plan to bring several things but I do not have a cellar nearly like a lot of you folks!

What vintage of dark lord are most people looking to try? I was thinking of bringing a bottle of 2010 and 2011 but if people are more interested in 2012-16 I can bring those instead, I will be heading out around 2 or 3 unfortunately so I won't have all day to drink with ya'll.

I also plan to bring Stone Vertical Epic 2011. I've not had a good occasion to drink that and I figure BA folks will appreciate it perhaps. Other than that I think I'll pick up some stuff from scorched earth and perhaps crystal lake brewing since they are local here. Any other suggestions for stuff local to the northwest suburbs of chicago are welcome!

Oh...we talkin beer here? Well in that case, will need some help whittling this down, as wel plan to only bring 6-8 of the below total for the two of us this year, instead of the 12-15 we had prior.



That's a Warped Wing Whiskey Rebellion, Wicked Weed Tropicmost, Trillium Congress S, Parabajava, Boxers Revenge, Puga Cobra, CCB/Two Regular Joes Kumquat sour (a sleeper, absolutely delicious), BA Sexual Chocolate vs regular, Sardo Numspa, Huna, and last year's Caffe Americano because I want to guarantee myself some coffee and I also wanted to see what a year on that one would be like...lol, coffee beer party foul--derp!

 

Check Mokena Binny's too if you're close. Better yet call ahead. They had many cases two days ago.

 

I will be there with my brothers and one of their buddies.

 

If anyone has trouble finding the grassy knoll, just yell 'DRAGON ABORTION!' until your cup overflows with whales.

 

Fixed that for you. As you can tell I'm currently 3 pages behind, which means I've read two pages on the train after actually working the whole afternoon..

Agreed...I hauled a backpack, with way too many bottles, all day last year and ended up drunk duffing it face first in the hip hop tent because I was so top heavy (and drunk), bunch of good dudes picked me right up...

I just took a look at my cellar. Every year I bring too much so this year I'm gonna run a bit lighter so I spend more time at the taps. This is what I got:
