You're assuming a 1st timer is going to be more responsible than someone who has gone multiple times? My first DLD was easily top 5 drunkest experiences of my life.

That said, last year was my second drunkest DLD (damn vouchers needed to be used) so perhaps I haven't learned quite as much as I'd like to pretend.

It's not allowed, but you'll be fine. The security is jrst checking for weapons basically. They're just doing a quick glance into bags, and even the , they're not pulling out every bottle and reading the label.

Do I need to bring my drivers liscense even though I'm obviously not driving?

Security requires a taste of all beverages entering the premises. You will be fine, they don't look at the bottles. I'll take a sample, only had 1 mead and didn't like it.

 

You need something that shows you are 21. Also if you are the ticket holder you need it to also have your name on it that matches your ticket. My recommendation just take your drivers license.

Technically not allowed, but like others have mentioned they're probably not looking that close. To be safe, you could plan to share it in the entry line outside the fest, if you're not arriving super early to get in the staging area.

Yep not necessarily tough to find, but since this is the first time it's been canned it's a bit of a novelty. Couple that with it hitting distro this week and you should see plenty of it floating around tomorrow.
