Noon Whistle (IL)

I've been fortunate to try both the Jive and Mosaic recently and while I enjoyed both very much, that Mosaic was killer. Hope to have more of the Gummies in the future. Thanks to @77apm for hooking it up.

 

So I got to try the Mr. Nice Gummy today... and all I gotta say is, WOW! Blew me away.

I've tried a couple different local offerings of "NEIPA"s from Noon Whistle (Jive Gummy, Let's Gummy, Mosaic Gummy) and some from Hailstorm and Maplewood. They were either lacking in taste with a pretty good aroma OR were almost indiscernible from a traditional IPA.

This Mr. Nice Gummy straight up smells like tropical fruit juice with super low bitterness with an almost fruity taste. I find it crazy that this beer doesn't have any fruit adjuncts in it like the Pipeworks stuff... and even then the fish beers from Pipeworks don't give me this super fruity flavor.

Bought myself a Crowler to go.

Man, I am not feeling the new Gummy at all. At least they've still got Mosaic and Let's on tap.

 

Any BA's stop in for It Takes Two to Mango yesterday? The initial Untappd reviews were tepid compared to the other Gummy beers (though not bad and no consistent criticisms either). Will stop by for a crowler today if I can swing that and Check 1/2

 

It was decent. Although I did eat something kind of spicy a little while beforehand and that might've screwed up my palate.

 

Same here, i thought it was decent, but not great....I've liked Let's, Mosaic, Jive, Vortex all better

I also tried Mr. Nice Gummy and thought it was straight up bad...

 

I'm with you on Mr. Nice Gummy. First beer I've had from them that I thought was legitimately bad

 

im swinging by today for a crowler and a new 4 pack of the hop prism indigo series
