I've been on a conference call for over an hour. This day is brutal.

 

I conquered that beast solo this week in prep for DLD. I also woke up and didn't remember even going up to bed.

Sorry to tease on the D6, that probably won't make it til noon. I'll try to bring some of the others to the grassy knoll though. I'll most likely be wearing my "I only drink whales" t-shirt.

DLD is the beer equivalent of March Madness....

 

I can't believe I'm honestly considering wearing shorts to a Dark Lord Day. I keep waiting for this weather forecast to flip, but it's looking pretty sweet. I think one of the underrated parts is that there hasn't been rain the couple days prior to DLD, which means the grassy areas won't be soaked & muddy.

The line waiting for FFF to open about 20 minutes ago

 

Got word from a friend of mine who is already up there that FFF did do a special bottle release at the brewery this morning. In past years, they've done that.

Cooler is packed with beer and ice,
Stuff is in my car,
Just waiting for my wife to get home from work and then, it'll be wheels up from Columbus!!

 

I am committed to shorts for tomorrow! This is gonna be great!

I've tossed the idea of wearing short as opposed to jeans but I'm still undecided. It's going to be pretty cool outside. The hourly forecast shows 40's and 50's in the morning. It won't hit 70 until around 3pm.
